A red bar appearing at the top of the X-Changer screen is an indicator that the system is trying to alert you of an issue. This function will show a general overview of what is causing the red bar. It is important to always monitor the system for the presence of a red bar. If one appears, it could mean that the system needs service. If a message does not contain clear instructions on what the problem is, then contact the store manager for further assistance. |

System Error Messages
To access this function, your specific Card ID (The 12-digit number on the back of the card) must have SYSTEM ERROR MESSAGES selected under MAINTENANCE in permission settings . Please see your store Owner/Manager to update your permission settings. See Permission Settings and Functions for more information on how to set permissions.

- Insert your card, click on Maintenance from the main menu.
- Select System Error Messages.
- The page will display the reason(s) for the red bar.
- If the message is clear, then take action, and the message and red bar will clear within one minute.
- If the message is unclear, it may require additional service attention.
