---|
IMPORTANTThis procedure should only be performed on Satellites that have the "SatBoot" label affixed, as shown below. If this is performed on a non-SatBoot capable unit the device will be reset to |
factory defaults and must be returned to CCI for reconfiguration. |
Disconnect power from the Satellite.
Press and hold the ‘RES’ reset button.
Reconnect power to the Satellite.
Wait until the (ACT Light or Green Light) starts flashing.
Release the 'RES' reset button.
Keep the Satellite powered on.
This reset operation will configure the Satellite to the initial CCI "BootStrap" configuration.
The Satellite will then automatically download and install the latest ‘operational’ configuration.
During this sequence, it is important to keep the Satellite powered on. This procedure may take up to 15 minutes.
After the downloads and installation are completed, the Satellite will automatically become operational.
This can be verified by checking the Administration Site → System → Satellite Status.
The Satellite will show 'Online'.

If you wait until LED stops flashing, and only then release the button - this will instead launch Netinstall mode, to reinstall RouterOS. |
