  1. Optional: Remove existing payment device and cover opening usingC-0939BNA Cover Plate.

  2. Place theC-6700-TEMPDrill Template on the desired mounting location.

    1. IfC-0939 BNA Cover Plateis used, drilling mounting holes into the plate is recommended.

  3. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

Connect Power

Power is supplied through the same Machine Interface Harnessdescribed in step 4.

Connect Coin Sense Harness

Not applicable in this setup. FasCard reader does not collect payment from any other devices, and will only send funds to the machine's control.

Connect Machine Interface Harness

  1. Connect theC-6124-MDB Machine Start Harness to theMDB connection on the Machine Control Assembly.
    1. Optional: Use the short pigtail MDB connection to reconnect any other payment devices still in use.

Connect and Mount Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in theF2 Reader Mounting Guide.
  2. Connect the black, 10-pin connection of theC-6124-MDBMachine Start Harnessto port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. Connect the clear, 3-pin connection of theC-6124-MDBPower Harness to port 1.
  4. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F2 Reader Mounting Guide.
