How to Access Store Status
To access this function, your specific Card ID (The 12-digit number on the back of the card) must have STORE STATUS selected under MAINTENANCE in permission settings . Please see your store Owner/Manager to update your permission settings. See Permission Settings and Functions for more information on how to set permissions.
- Insert your card.
- Select Maintenance from the main menu.
- Select Store Status.
Once the Store Status page has been opened, you will be able to view extensive details regarding the status of current hardware.
1. Database assignments. | |
2. Current LaundryCard version installed per PC. | |
3. Last time the system completed a reboot. Note: We recommend rebooting the X-Changers every thirty (30) days to refresh available hardware/software resources. | |
4. X-Changer computer hardware information. | |
5. Component model identifiers (barcode scanner, bill acceptor, credit card device/service type/EBT availability, printer(s), touch screen). | |
6. Active communication ports. Note: Order of COM ports may be non-sequential, which is normal, as long as their assignments are correct on the back-end. | |
7. Application status. All three (3) applications would need to be active for the X-Changer to function properly. | |
8. Backup status. Backup errors that are generated in the system error log also display in this section. | |
9. Card dispenser status. Percentage rates of failure per amount of cards dispensed will display in this section. |
1. Available total number of configured lines. Also reports any response errors. | |
2. Error-based reported problem readers. If more than three (3) polling errors occur in a minute's span, a reader's assigned machine number may display here. | |
3. Message-based reported problem readers. If a problem reader has sent 100 or more messages in the last minute, a reader's assigned machine number may display here. | |
4. Readers set offline. When placing a machine out of service for any reason, or if an assigned reader number is either no longer in use or may be reserved in the future, to prevent an error from generating, setting the machine number offline would place the reader number in this offline section. | |
5. OK readers. As LaundryCard readers consistently poll along their respective lines, the occasional error may surface. As long as the amount of errors produced are less than three occurrences in a minute's span, active working machine reader numbers will display in this section. | |
6. The machine table. Displays a detailed breakdown of each available LaundryCard reader added and configured, from machine number, line assignments, current state of operation, polling statuses, whether successful or not, and error descriptions to identify the issue. |
Note |
---|
The Wireless Card Reader/Line Status section is only visible if the WifiReader License Key is actively set to True. |
1. Wifi Status. Indicates which X-Changer is currently in what state over existing LaundryCard Access Point(s) (LCAP). | |
2. LCAP Status. Identifies LCAP names, reported availability, MAC and assigned IP addresses, the LCAP version, and any errors that LCAPs may report. | |
3. Reader Status. Gives detailed information of wireless LaundryCard reader assigned machine numbers, current availability, MAC and assigned IP addresses, the reader's equipment type firmware and version, and any errors that wireless readers may report. | |
4. The opposing X-Changer's status. If an LCAP is connected to one X-Changer vs the other and/or if a reader is reporting to the opposing LCAP connecting to the opposing X-Changer, their statuses will report in whichever status section relevant to the connected hardware. |
