Overview

The FasCard Add Value Kiosk has multiple options that can be configured by users with Admin or Equipment Setup privileges.  These configuration options are found by signing in to the  FasCard Admin Site and navigating to the Equipment Types page under the Setup tab.

Configuration Option

Description

Name

This field allows the name of the kiosk to be edited- this name will show up on reporting that includes totals by equipment type.

Notes

This field can be used for any particular notes that may want to be remembered by users (store admin, authorized personnel, etc.).

Coin Input

This feature allows for enabling or disabling the Coin Input port for the Add Value Kiosk. Once set, you can also update the coin capacity and coin value for each coin inserted into the coin drop.

This feature is only available for Coin-Accepted Add Value Kiosks using Core 102 or newer firmware.

Accept Credit Cards for: (tick) Adding value to loyalty account

This

checkbox allows credit cards to be used at the kiosk when checked.

User Timeout

This field allows an employee user to set customer timeout length before returning to the home screen, should a customer interact with an Add Value Kiosk without returning to the home screen.

Accept Cash

This checkbox can be utilized to enable or disable use of the bill validator.

Bill Capacity

This field can be edited as needed, based upon the capacity of the bill validator magazine.

Location Name

This field can be filled out by the user to provide the name of the location the Add Value Kiosk will be installed in. Maximum 24 characters.

Note: This field carries to all locations that use this equipment type. Different equipment types would still need to be created for each separate location.

Accepted Bills

This field specifies the bills accepted by the bill validator.

Accepted Orientations

Note: This function does not work with Talos BNAs! To set Accepted Orientations on a Talos Bill Acceptor, a filled out configuration sheet is required to set bill orientation preferences.

This field specifies the facing and direction in which bills are accepted.

  • 4 ways allows bills to be inserted in any orientation.

  • 2 ways allows bills to be inserted face up but the top edge of the bill in either orientation.

  • 1 way will only allow the bill to be inserted face up with the top edge aligned to the left side of the bill validator.
