This document is intended to guide the user through the installation of a LaundryCard Receipt Printer.
Estimated Installation Time: 30 Minutes
Disconnect any electrical device from power before performing any work on the device. It is recommended that the instructions contained herein be performed by individuals who are qualified to perform these tasks. Card Concepts Inc. takes no responsibility for the accuracy of this document or any damage that may occur to target equipment. Technical Support recommends using all appropriate safety equipment (such as hand and eye protection) during execution of the instructions below.

Step-by-step guide
Step 1 - Installing the lock
- Disassemble the Service Lock by removing the nut, kep ring, cam, and mounting nut from the lock.
- Push the lock through the opening Printer Cabinet and orient it so that the inserted key is vertically parallel to the longer sides of the cabinet.
- Slide the cam onto the lock shaft with the protrusions facing upward.
- Slide on the kep ring and secure with the remaining nut.
Step 2 - Mounting printer cabinet
Receipt Printer Mounting
The Receipt Printer cannot be mounted inside of an X-Changer cabinet.
- Determine a suitable mounting location. Examples include:
- Behind a knockout wall.
- On a shelf in-between both X-Changers.
- Cable tied on a table.
- Mark the Printer Cabinet cable opening on the mounting surface and drill a 1" opening in mounting surface to allow cables to pass through.
- Attach the Printer Cabinet to surface with appropriate hardware (not provided).
Step 3 - Installing printer in cabinet
- Pass the USB Cable and Power Supply cable through the opening and connect the cables to the Receipt Printer.
- Using the slotted holes on the Receipt Printer, mount it to the Printer Cabinet. Adjust the printer as far toward the rear of the cabinet as possible.
- Load paper into the printer by lifting up on the paper bar.
- Lock bar back into place and open feeder release by pulling the blue lever.
- Pull paper across the feeder and press down on the feeder assembly until it locks into place.
- Close the Printer Cabinet and turn the key to secure the lock.
Step 4 - Final connections
- Connect the Print Server to the USB Cable.
- Connect the Cat5 Cable to the Print Server and to the network switch in the closest X-Changer.
- Connect the Power Supply to the Receipt Printer and an appropriate power outlet.
- Connect the Print Server power supply to the Print Server and to an appropriate power outlet.
