  1. If coin drop is present for the lower pocket, remove and disconnect it from the extension harness for the CN8 connection. Connect the C-5374R1-144 Pulse Start Harness to the 6-pin connector on the extension harness. Run the harness back to the upper pocket’s control housing to the card reader.

  2. Locate area to mount C-6410 Pulse Stack Add-On Board.

    1. Must be close enough to reader mounting location to connect the harness to.

    2. Must be on a surface that does not received direct exposure from any heating elements (If applicable.)

  3. Clean mounting location to remove any dust and residue if needed.

  4. Remove the sticker from the back of the C-6410 Pulse Stack Add-On Board to expose the adhesive and apply to the mounting location.

  5. Connect the white, 6-pin connector from the C-5374-144 Machine Start Harness to the J1 connection on the C-6410 Pulse Stack Add-On Board.

  6. Install the C-6971 Mounting Bracket into the lower pocket’s payment device opening. Secure in place using the factory hardware.

  7. Apply the C-5033 Label over the openings in the C-6971 Mounting Bracket.
