X-Changer Touchscreen Monitor Retrofit Kits Guide

Overview

Early X-Changer systems were shipped with an ELO touch monitor (C-1057) or (C-1054). Over the years, the manufacturer discontinued those models and replaced them with an upgraded version (C-1053). That too became discontinued shortly after, so we transitioned to the ELO 1590L (C-1052) and Zuljana (C-1051) monitors. Depending on your cabinet version, you will need one of these supported monitors.

C-1051 is compatible only with Version 2 cabinets. See our hardware identification guide to determine the cabinet version you are using.

Both of these monitors also present new features regarding their installation as compared to their older counterparts:

A separate Black Front Mounting Bezel has been modified to fit both versions of the X-Changers (C-1053B/C-1053B-V2).
1. C-1053B-V2 will fit a Version 2 cabinet.
  1. If you have the smaller cabinet with ONE Lock and Core on the front door AND ONE Lock and Core on the rear door, you have a Version 2 cabinet.
  2. A symmetrical bracket where both the right and left side indentations will be the same.
2. C-1053B is meant only for Version 1 cabinets.
  1. If you have the larger cabinet with TWO Lock and Cores on the front door AND TWO Lock and Cores on the rear door, then you have a Version 1 cabinet.
The monitor brackets holding the back of the monitors vary depending on your cabinet version.
1. C-1056 will fit a Version 1 cabinet.
  1. Make sure this bracket is mounted correctly, it is not symmetrical.
  2. Make sure this bracket is mounted correctly, or the front door of the exchanger will not close properly.
  3. The bracket will require 8 M4 x 6mm screws.
    1. ELO will provide four each in the packaging.
    2. CCI will provide four each (C-1011).
2. C-1053BR fits a Version 2 cabinet.
Depending on the monitor you need, a power supply may be provided:
1. C-1052 monitors do not provide a power supply and will require C-1052P to be purchased separately.
2. C-1051 monitors come with a power supply.
  1. This monitor can also work C-1052P if its power supply fails.
