Dexter - Enabling Remote Reader Restart with Machine Debug Setting in LaundryCard

Requirements

  • Dexter washer equipment type on at least a Core 102 (or newer) reader firmware.

  • LaundryCard applications updated to v9.2.2 or newer.

 Instructions

  1. Identify the machine number of the Dexter machine using the Dexter equipment type with updated reader firmware.

  2. Access the Manager’s Options menu either remotely or in-person using a card with System Setup permissions.

  3. Navigate to System Setup → Additional Machine Info

  4. For the machine number row of the Dexter machine, click the Edit button.

  5. Set the Debug column value to 32769 and Save.

After saving the value, the reader in question should reboot in approx. 1 minute. Once rebooted, you can set the Debug column value back to 0 and saving.
