FasCard System Update History

Releases 34 and 35 were internal server and system-based releases only. No public-facing notes available for these releases.

Release 33 - October 22, 2024

New Features

  • ‘Coin Box Full’ notification support added for machines using the Coin 2 slot on a FasCard/FLEX reader.

    • Previously, ‘Coin Box Full’ email notifications were only triggered by the Coin 1 slot for readers using both Coin Slots in a Dual Pocket setup.

  • Support for future server hardware updates pending the next coming release.

    • This should not impact existing server data.

Improvements

  • Admin Adjustments to individual loyalty accounts made by specific employee users now visible to the employee when logged in to the Admin Site.

  • Added additional details for FasCard Mobile Site users when providing App Feedback.

    • FasCard Mobile App support of this improvement coming soon.

  • Added ‘Estimated Run Time Minutes’ dropdown to Dexter washer equipment types to better align Dexter machine runtime with the FasCard/FLEX reader countdown clock.

  • The ‘dummy price’ requirement for Alliance Quantum Touch (Midas) equipment types on the admin site has been removed.

  • Communication improvements between FasCard/FLEX readers, satellites, and FasCard servers.

  • Updates to the Worldnet interface to better handle communications errors.

  • Improvements to offline credit card processing.

Fixes

  • Fixed issue in System Maintenance where clicking the Status of a machine with no history would cause an error and log the user out of the admin site.

  • Fixed issue where load times for viewing new locations in a FasCard/FLEX would take longer than expected.

  • Fixed issue where dual-pocket configured readers are counted twice.

  • Fixes and new code implemented to LogMsg statistics data collection.

Release 32 - April 16, 2024

New Features

  • Support for FLEX RF

  • Added direct access to StaxBill billing portal from within the Admin Site.

Improvements

  • System Maintenance Auto-Refresh has been replaced with a manual Refresh button and a display of the timestamp of the last refresh.

    • The System Maintenance page will no longer automatically refresh every 30 seconds as a result.

  • Individual satellite and machine status histories on the System Maintenance page is now accessible by clicking on the status link itself.

    • Previously, viewing the status history was done through clicking any singular row on the table. This added potential to mistakenly click any row and load a machine’s status history.

    • Additionally, you can now open individual satellite and machine status histories in a new window or tab.

  • Machine status notifications for when a cycle nears completion now require customers to have email verification and login record.

  • Individual machine status history pages now display the MAC addresses of potential duplicate readers for easier identification.

  • Store Account Admins can now enable/disable CVV and Zip verification from Loyalty Settings if the Payment Gateway allows.

  • Hyperlinks that cross-link to other admin pages are now underlined.

  • Hyperlinks that previously showed a URL specific to the FasCard Admin Site are now removed from emailed reports.

  • Certain reports are now restricted to only store Account Admins.

  • Credit surcharges are now itemized in the Income Totals report.

  • Work Schedules now distinguish the difference between the current month and the previous/next month.

  • Work Schedules can now be exported to a PDF for printing based on the current user’s calendar view (Day/Week/Month/Agenda/Timeline).

  • Improvements to Satellite tracking, statistics, updates and notification processing.

  • Various improvements to database queries and performance.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where an employee user with limited permissions can generate reports with links the user cannot access.

  • Fixed issue where pressing the <Enter> key on the Location Setup page prompts user to confirm deleting the saved custom logo.

    • Additionally, fixed issue where users were unable to delete a custom location logo.

  • Fixed issue where, on the System Maintenance screen, selecting the Central Time Zone reverts to Pacific Time Zone.

  • Fixed issue where scheduled balance reload events immediately triggered for a user when saving a set up reload schedule.

  • Fixed issue where the Sales Interval report did not include the 11:00PM interval for hourly reporting.


Release 31 - August 8, 2023

New Features

  • EBT support added for EBT-enabled accounts to add value at Touch Kiosks and Add Value Kiosks.

EBT cards cannot be used to start machines.

Admin Site

  • EBT-based transactions now visible in reporting for new and existing FasCard accounts that are set up for EBT acceptance. For information regarding EBT acceptance, contact CCI directly.

Mobile Site

  • Added backend security for credit card transactions made on the FasCard mobile site.*

  • Order ID, location association and other additional logging information added to the series of credit card reports (authorizations, captures, transactions).

  • Location ID is now visible in any page in a FasCard account where a locations table may be visible.

  • Improvements to surcharge limit identification and reduction as set by Worldnet.

  • Maximum individual machine price limit allowed with modifiers set to $327.67.

  • Improvements to gathering of satellite status data with multiple satellites.

  • Improvements to handling errors on the Pricing / Features page.

  • Loyalty Users report generation performance improvements.

  • Improvements to Worldnet error code parsing.

  • Fixes issue where users with limited location group access can still view reports for all locations in an account.

  • Fixes issue where selecting a record that happens to be the sole record on a last page fails any update.

  • Fixes issue where bill acceptance cannot be re-enabled for a Touch Kiosk after disabling.

Mobile Site

  • Fixes issue where BridgePay and Pineapple transactions may not successfully process under certain conditions.*

Release 30 - December 6, 2022

New Features

Admin Site

  • Account administrators and employees with Server Management privileges can now enable or disable adding value to loyalty accounts through the FasCard Loyalty Site or FasCard Mobile App. *

  • Equipment table added to each individual Location page to indicate what specific equipment/machines are being used at a location.

Mobile App

  • Basic Reports are now available through the FasCard Loyalty Site directly. *

Improvements

  • Location columns added to equipment types tables to determine how many locations are using and equipment type and where, depending on the page accessed.

  • Added ability to set any combination of required registration fields for the FasCard Loyalty App / Mobile Site in order to successfully register a loyalty account.

    • Email will always be a necessary field.

  • Fixed issue where Credit Card Transactions reports incorrectly pulled captures for same card number but differing names.

  • Fixed issue where the Income Report did not calculate POS Add-Value transactions correctly into the income total.

  • Updated column names for Location tables across pages that display the list of an account’s locations.

Mobile App

  • Improvements made to registration of the FasCard Loyalty Site. *

  • Added support for resending verification email to the same or a new email address, should a loyalty customer change the email address they choose to register to. *

    • This is also applied at a Touch Kiosk level when registration is not yet completed.

  • ‘Terms | Privacy | Credit’ links updated to reflect new Confluence Cloud pages. *

API

  • Calling UserAccount API endpoints can now use the FasCard account number.

  • GET AuthToken support removed.

  • To reduce confusion, as Kiosks are not factored in Sales Details, the Sales Details Report no longer includes Kiosks (Touch Kiosks / Add Value Kiosks).

    • Kiosks' reporting can be found in Collections, Employee Activity, and Machine Activity Reports.

  • Reporting and Marketing improvements.

Mobile App

  • Fixes issue with feedback submission when notified users' or administrators' email address is not present.
