Release 32 - April 16, 2024

New Features

  • Support for FLEX RF

  • Added direct access to StaxBill billing portal from within the Admin Site.

Improvements

  • System Maintenance Auto-Refresh has been replaced with a manual Refresh button and a display of the timestamp of the last refresh.

    • The System Maintenance page will no longer automatically refresh every 30 seconds as a result.

  • Individual satellite and machine status histories on the System Maintenance page is now accessible by clicking on the status link itself.

    • Previously, viewing the status history was done through clicking any singular row on the table. This added potential to mistakenly click any row and load a machine’s status history.

    • Additionally, you can now open individual satellite and machine status histories in a new window or tab.

  • Machine status notifications for when a cycle nears completion now require customers to have email verification and login record.

  • Individual machine status history pages now display the MAC addresses of potential duplicate readers for easier identification.

  • Store Account Admins can now enable/disable CVV and Zip verification from Loyalty Settings if the Payment Gateway allows.

  • Hyperlinks that cross-link to other admin pages are now underlined.

  • Hyperlinks that previously showed a URL specific to the FasCard Admin Site are now removed from emailed reports.

  • Certain reports are now restricted to only store Account Admins.

  • Credit surcharges are now itemized in the Income Totals report.

  • Work Schedules now distinguish the difference between the current month and the previous/next month.

  • Work Schedules can now be exported to a PDF for printing based on the current user’s calendar view (Day/Week/Month/Agenda/Timeline).

  • Improvements to Satellite tracking, statistics, updates and notification processing.

  • Various improvements to database queries and performance.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where an employee user with limited permissions can generate reports with links the user cannot access.

  • Fixed issue where pressing the <Enter> key on the Location Setup page prompts user to confirm deleting the saved custom logo.

    • Additionally, fixed issue where users were unable to delete a custom location logo.

  • Fixed issue where, on the System Maintenance screen, selecting the Central Time Zone reverts to Pacific Time Zone.

  • Fixed issue where scheduled balance reload events immediately triggered for a user when saving a set up reload schedule.

  • Fixed issue where the Sales Interval report did not include the 11:00PM interval for hourly reporting.


Release 31 - August 8, 2023

New Features

  • EBT support added for EBT-enabled accounts to add value at Touch Kiosks and Add Value Kiosks.

EBT cards cannot be used to start machines.

Admin Site

  • EBT-based transactions now visible in reporting for new and existing FasCard accounts that are set up for EBT acceptance. For information regarding EBT acceptance, contact CCI directly.

Mobile Site

  • Added backend security for credit card transactions made on the FasCard mobile site.*

  • Order ID, location association and other additional logging information added to the series of credit card reports (authorizations, captures, transactions).

Release 30 - December 6, 2022

New Features

Admin Site

  • Account administrators and employees with Server Management privileges can now enable or disable adding value to loyalty accounts through the FasCard Loyalty Site or FasCard Mobile App. *

  • Equipment table added to each individual Location page to indicate what specific equipment/machines are being used at a location.

Mobile App

  • Basic Reports are now available through the FasCard Loyalty Site directly. *

Improvements

Admin Site

  • Location columns added to equipment types tables to determine how many locations are using and equipment type and where, depending on the page accessed.

  • Added ability to set any combination of required registration fields for the FasCard Loyalty App / Mobile Site in order to successfully register a loyalty account.

    • Email will always be a necessary field.

  • Fixed issue where Credit Card Transactions reports incorrectly pulled captures for same card number but differing names.

  • Fixed issue where the Income Report did not calculate POS Add-Value transactions correctly into the income total.

  • A reporting Dashboard is now available, allowing administrators, and employees with the 'Report Admin' privilege enabled to set up snapshots of custom report charts to easily view sales data.

  • New system alert options are now available for setup to notify when either the primary and/or backup internet source is offline.

  • New Account Billing History Report is available in the 'Reports' tab for administrators and employees with 'Report Admin' privileges enabled.

  • Add Value Packages can now be individually separated per store location.

  • Adds individualized support for newer Continental ProfitPlus Extra Spin washers.

  • Turns Report now includes an 'Average Turns' option to view average number of turns between selected machines in reporting.

  • Credit Card Transactions report now has a column that determines the capture method used between Swipe, EMV Chip, and NFC (e.g. smartphones, tap-to-charge cards).

  • To reduce confusion, as Kiosks are not factored in Sales Details, the Sales Details Report no longer includes Kiosks (Touch Kiosks / Add Value Kiosks).

    • Kiosks' reporting can be found in Collections, Employee Activity, and Machine Activity Reports.

  • Reporting and Marketing improvements.

  • Additional bug fixes and improvements.

Mobile App

  • Fixes issue with feedback submission when notified users' or administrators' email address is not present.

  • Long machine / equipment names now automatically truncate for better equipment visibility.

Release 24 - December 9, 2020

  • New Sales Comparison Report, provides comparison data of sales by equipment type for up to 4 periods for selected intervals. Learn more

  • New notes fields added to various pages, including Loyalty Accounts, Equipment, Location, Location Groups, Machines and Users

  • Delete personal information, admins of the loyalty pages can now remove loyalty accounts along with all associated personal information in compliance with GDPR guidelines

Mobile App

  • New Feedback option allows retail customers to report an issue, feedback is automatically forwarded to selected users

It may take a few weeks for the mobile app to propagate through the app store and onto user devices, some features will not be available until users receives the update.

Release 22 - March 5, 2020

New Features

  • Added "Remember Me" logic to new user registration sequence so that when a user registers, selects this option, their login information will be pre-filled upon logging into the Mobile App.

Improvements

  • Now Store owners can apply a credit card surcharge to add-value, vend, both, or no transactions.  There is a new "Surcharge" mode on the Server Management screen to allow Store Owners to apply the surcharge to only vending transactions, add-value transactions, both, or none.  See here for more details on how to apply this feature to your store.

  • Loyalty Users can now enter international addresses on the FasCard Mobile App.

  • Store Owners can now apply a spending requirement amount to be met before awarding a bonus coupon.  Click here to learn more on how to set this up in the FasCard Admin site.  Loyalty users will see a message if they met the spending requirement to receive the coupon as well as one if they did not meet the spending requirement.

Fixes

Mobile App

  • Previously, the FasCard mobile app would not load due to phone settings being configured for another language other than English or Spanish.  For example, when a phone language is set to Japanese, or some other language, the mobile app will not load and only 3 blinking dots would appear.  This has been fixed.

  • The labels on the buttons were cut off at the bottom of the screen.  This has been fixed.

  • The "Remember Me" option, if checked, was not functioning and when user would click the web browser back button, would be logged out. This has been fixed.  If the user clicks the web browser back button, and has selected the "Remember Me" option previously on log-in, they will be directed to the locations page.

  • Other additional bug fixes have been resolved.

Release 21 - December 10, 2019

New Features and Improvements

Locations

  1. Locations listing in Alphabetical Order - Locations listed under the FasCard Accounts Loyalty Tab will now default to alphabetical order.

  2. Store Branding - You can now upload a store logo for each location in the FasCard Admin Site.  These logos will appear on the location details screen in the mobile app. Click this link to learn more about creating a logo for your locations: FasCard Admin Site - Location Setup.

Reports

  1. Credit Card transactions Report - The individual credit card numbers will now be listed in chronological order.

  2. Credit Card Status Report - The report will display the newest records at the top.

  3. Employee Work Schedule Report - This report will now include the reader number where an employee has clocked in or out.  See FasCard Admin Site - Reports for more information.

Users

  1. New POS User Type - In order for a FasCard System to integrate with a POS (Point of Sale) system, a special POS user must be created.  Click FasCard Admin Site - User Accounts to learn more about this feature.

  2. Employee Loyalty Activity - You can now view an employee's Loyalty activity through their User account details.

Fixes

Weekly auto-reload day/time

  1. On the Loyalty Accounts page when setting/updating the Weekly auto-reload day/time, the current date was unintentionally being used as the reload day of week.  For example if today was Monday, it will be used as the reload day of week even though the drop down is selected as Sunday.  This is now fixed.

Reports

  1. When paying with a combination of coin and loyalty, or coin loyalty and credit. The loyalty balance charged is recorded incorrectly in the machine activity report, but correctly in the loyalty account activity report.  This is now fixed.

Release 20 - August 6, 2019

New Features

  • Allow $0.00 Pricing:  click here to access information on how to configure machine pricing.

  • Allow auto-start after swiping Loyalty Card (There must be sufficient funds on the Loyalty Card.)  

  • Added new field, "Entry Method" on Open Credit Card Status and Credit Card Captures reports.  Click here for a description of this new field.

Improvements

  • F2 support for the Add-Value Kiosk

    • The F2 Reader can now be added to the Add-Value Kiosk and store patrons can add value to their Loyalty Card.  Click here to install the F2 Reader on the Add-Value Kiosk.

  • F2 Reader supports NFC payment functionality (Near Field Communication)

    • F2 Reader can now take payments from phones with NFC capability simply by holding the phone close to the reader.

    • Add Bridgepay as a service type on server management page to support NFC functionality on the F2 Reader.  

    • This must be configured on the Server Management screen by CCI.  Click FasCard Admin Site - Server Management, to read more about this feature.

Fixes

  • F2 Reader LED lights now blink RED when disabled.  Click F2: FasCard Touchscreen Reader to see a description of the F2 LED Lights.

  • Fixed issue where card was active on multiple machines at the same time and allowing simultaneous starts even if card has insufficient funds.

  • Fixed issue where a single work schedule event was deleted from a series, the remaining work events changed times.

  • Other bug fixes.

Release 19 - May 6, 2019

New Features

  • Added a new equipment type for POS.  FasCard can integrate with a POS system.

Improvements

  •  Removed AuthorizeNetV1 Service Type because it is no longer maintained/supported by Authorize.Net

Release 18 - December 19, 2018

NOTE: The below changes do NOT require updates to satellite or card reader firmware.

New Features

  • Added ability to charge a different price (surcharge or discount) for credit card transactions. When configured, fees will be shown on the following reports:

    • Credit Card Transactions (shown in the Machine column)

    • Sales Totals

    • Sales Details

  • Added new "Test-and-Trust" credit card authorization mode that will run a small transaction against a credit card to test validity, and if successful will then allow the cardholder to spend up to a "Trust" amount.

  • Adds option to immediately apply coupons to existing loyalty accounts.

Improvements

  • The type of credit card used (VISA, Mastercard, etc) is now shown in the following reports:

    • Credit Card Transactions

    • Credit Card Captures

    • Open Credit Card Status

    • Machine Activity

  • Added column to show lost funds (due to errors capturing a credit card or when using new Test-and-Trust mode) on the Credit Card Captures report.

  • Show warning if Cellular Modem Router (CMR) has been added to a Location but is not configured.
