As of LaundryCard v8.3.3, the system includes a feature that will automatically export Card and Transact data for retrieval. This feature is not available on LaundryCard v7.
What
Data is exported as a pipe "|" delimited text (.txt) file and then archived (.zip) to save space. The following data is exported:
Card table: Includes all cards within the system. Saved as Card.zip.
Transact table (daily): Includes transactions for the entire day. Is saved as Transact_YYYYMMDD.zip.
Transact table (retention): Includes all transactions within the retention period. Saved as Transact.zip.
NOTE: When the export initially runs, the daily export Transact_YYYYMMDD.zip is only exported for the previous day. However the retention export Transact.zip will always include all transactions within the retention period.
When
The data export occurs every day at 1:00 AM.
Data Retention
Manager button > General Info button > Misc Settings secton > Data Export Retention. This setting controls how long daily Transact_YYYYMMDD.zip archives are kept and how many days worth of transactions to include in the retention file. The default is 30 days.
Access
The files can be retrieved by accessing a read-only share on either X-Changer. Please contact CCI for the user credentials.
X-Changer A: \\10.0.0.101\Export
X-Changer B: \\10.0.0.102\Export
NOTE: When the export is run, all existing sessions to the \Export share are disconnected.
