OVERVIEW

This document lists the revisions to LaundryCard software.

v9.2.4 (October 31, 2024)

  • Official support added for Wireless LaundryCard.

    • SingleVend equipment types were renamed to indicate whether for use with wired or wireless LaundryCard readers.

  • Fixes issue in failing over to backup where the new Primary X-Changer does not immediately become Primary, resulting in delays and errors in screen operations and reading loyalty cards.

  • Improvements to card reader firmware management, including:

    • Set default firmware versions.

    • Limiting included firmware files in installer to only default versions.

    • Synchronizing firmware lists and files with the LaundryCard Data Center.

    • Management of missing required reader firmware files.

  • Improvements to all Totals based reports to better simplify the number of versions available for users to select from.

  • Implemented more uniform table formatting for wireless reader/line statuses on the Store Status page.

  • Operational improvements for the C-1009-LC VP3300 EMV Credit Card bezel for X-Changers.

  • Additional bug fixes and improvements.

v9.2.3 (July 11, 2024)

  • Fixes issue where a Javascript error would occur in the LaundryCard UI after attempting to use the ‘Restart X-Changer’ function if only one X-Changer was configured for a location.

  • Fixes issue where machine statuses did not synchronize with official data in the database after a failover.

  • Fixes issue with synchronizing certain Multi-Vend Top-Off transactions with the Backup database.

  • Various fixes and improvements to support for new model LaundryCard Router Firewalls (LCRFs), LaundryCard Access Points (LCAPs) and Wireless LaundryCard (L2) readers on latest core wireless firmware.

  • Updated grammar in card permissions screen.

v9.2.2 (January 11, 2024)

  • Fixes issue where previous loyalty card information would stay on screen after a credit card transaction even if the card was removed before the transaction was completed.

  • Fixes issue where X-Changers could potentially lock up on the ‘Remove Card Quickly’ screen under a unique transaction sequence.

  • Fixes issue where clicking the ‘Save’ link in Equipment Details pages would generate an error.

  • Additional bug fixes and improvements, including screen transparency reversion.

  • Fixes issue where the “Credit/Debit Card ONLY” message shows when an X-Changer is unable to accept cash even if credit cards are not configured.

  • Fixes issue where the screen can transition too quickly back to the homepage when attempting to complete a new card purchase with a credit card.

  • Fixes issue where a configured registration bonus could be awarded on every registration save when all card registration fields are made optional.

  • Fixes issue where the last 4 of a credit card number does not show in the Escrow page for stores using Ingenico credit card readers.

  • Fixes issue where the X-Changer may remain paused on the ‘Remove Card’ page under unique conditions.

  • Fixes issue where the ‘Edit' button was missing from the ‘Additional Machine Info’ screen.

  • Fixes issue where the X-Changer camera can cause a memory leak under rare conditions.

  • Support added for new model LaundryCard Access Points (LCAPs) for Wireless LaundryCard (L2) readers on core 100 and newer firmware.

    • L2 status reporting functions on new LCAPs require core 102 or newer firmware.

    • With the Wireless LaundryCard initial launch, the maximum number of allowed wireless card readers have been increased.

  • Improved formatting of Card Reader/Line Status display formatting on the Store Status page.

  • Improvements to the swipe sequence for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards.

  • Status and logging improvements.

  • Additional bug fixes and improvements.

v9.2.0 (June 6, 2023)

  • Fixes issue where LaundryCard processes do not work correctly with LCRFs using a non 6-byte hexadecimal serial number.

  • Fixes issue where the barcode on the last card in a card dispenser fails to read.

  • Support for new reader firmware versioning scheme (e.g. core 100 and newer firmware).

  • Added ability to choose which registration fields are required or optional when registering a loyalty card.

  • Coupons now automatically apply on dispense if an added coupon specifically applies to newly dispensed cards.

  • Credit Card Transactions report now includes a summary table and filter dropdowns for transaction method and card type.

  • Improvements to tracking credit card types and methods used in a credit card transaction.

  • Improvements to Store Status including extended card reader table details and error reporting.

  • Improvements to Equipment Details pages to support current and future firmware and reader implementations.

  • Improvements to Tsentry status reporting and logging for every devices and applicable process.

  • Improvement to the user interface involving a direct link between machine numbers and equipment type details for management and authorized personnel.

  • Fixes issue where Authorize.Net transactions were not properly reporting in the Credit Card Transactions report.

v9.1.9 (September 13, 2022)

  • Official support added for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards (more information can be found here: Accepting EBT in Your LaundryCard Store - Requirements & Pricing).

  • Improvements to Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) acceptance protocols, page functions, and usage reporting.

  • Improvements and fixes to database synchronization in conjunction with X-Changer scheduled tasks and cleanup.

  • Improved reporting of reused and pre-valued cards and the methods of payment / issuance used.

  • Improvements to the Configure Hardware tool hardware recognition, setup, and logging.

  • Support for Zuljana Touchscreen Monitors for LaundryCard V2 cabinets.

  • Improved support for Electrolux Clarus Vibe Washers.

  • Added ability to allow or restrict other employee users from being able to view/edit other employee users' LaundryCards.

    • Note: Any manager-tier card prior to v9.1.9 install will continue to retain this access feature. All other employee tiers will have this feature disabled by default until permissibly enabled.

  • Fixes issue where the incorrect amount was taken from card bonus for adjustment transactions (top-offs, cycle changes) when the original start used balance.

  • Fixes issue when Credit Card transactions using the Classic User Interface resulted in a script error; not allowing credit cards to process.

  • Fixes issue where employees are still required to clock in to start a machine even if their individual card does not require clock-in/out.

  • Fixes to calculated totals in individual customer card details to align with customer's reported balance.

  • Fixes issue where cash bonus checkboxes for the $1.00 tier were not visible.

  • Fixes issue where Technician cards are unable to view Equipment Status.

  • Additional bug fixes and improvements.

  • Official support added for various Advanced LaundryCard Live (ALCL) features (available with an Advanced LaundryCard Live (ALCL) Subscription).

  • Improved reporting, error detection, and notification between in-store X-Changers and the LaundryCard Live servers.

  • Fixes a number of calculated balances and totals in a number of reports to align with ALCL reports.

  • Fixes issue with advertising logic regarding set start and end dates and permanent ad fixtures.

  • Fixes issue where non-customer cards were recoverable from the card recovery screen.

  • Added ability to disable allowing bonuses with cash purchases while credit cards are enabled.

  • Support added for the refreshed model ELP X-Changer cameras.

  • Collections performed using a collector card with an email address saved will also email the collection receipt.

  • Collection tickets can now be emailed to a select number of email addresses of the user's choosing.

  • Support added for the C-1009 VP3300 EMV Bezel for use on V2 Cabinets with MEI Bill Note Acceptors (BNAs).

  • On the Reports screen, the 3 most recently accessed reports are shown at the top of the list.

  • If a credit card type (Amex, Visa, etc) is not accepted, a descriptive error is now shown to the user.

  • Fixed issue where generic cards starting with "999..." would not transfer at multi-store enabled locations.

  • Fixed issue where free dries were clearing off cards when the "Free Dry Limit" feature was disabled.
