Disconnect the USB cable and parallel (ribbon) cables.
The top panel may now be completely removed.
Step 4 - Removing the failed PSU
Note the location of the existing wires connected to the power supply that requires replacement.
The larger power supply is the 15-volt supply and the smaller is the 12-volt supply.
CCI Technical Support recommends taking a picture of the existing wire connections with a camera or smartphone as these connections must be exactly duplicated with the replacement power supply.
Remove screws securing wires to the power supply.
Remove the screws securing the power supply to the Control Head case (located on the bottom of the Control Head).
Lift the power supply free from the Control Head case.
Step 5 - Installing the replacement PSU
Reverse the process listed in Steps 1-4 to install the new PSU.
Once the new PSU is installed and all wires are connected to it, turn the orange plastic screw adjacent to the PSU wiring screws clockwise until it stops (do not overturn).
Power on the Control Head and verify the PSU is working properly.
