Overview

This guide provides information on how to connect the LaundryCard system with an always-on, high speed (broadband) internet connection.

Note

Modern minimum broadband speed tiers already meet the demand necessary for LaundryCard communications.  Incompatible with dial-up internet speeds.

Internet Service Provider (ISP) Requirements

  • (Version 8 and earlier required; Version 9 optional) User assignable static IP address. This address will be programmed into the CCI firewall.

IMPORTANT

If additional non-CCI equipment is being used on a Version 8 and earlier system, (security system, ATM, public wi-fi, etc.) extra static IP addresses will be needed. It is recommended to get a block of 5 static IPs.

Please provide CCI with the following information once the above requirements have been met:

Location Information

  • Store ID

  • Store Name

  • Street

  • City/State/Zip

  • Contact Person

  • Contact Phone

Internet Information (Version 8 and earlier required; Version 9 optional)

  • Service Provider

  • Useable Static I.P addresses

  • Subnet Mask

  • Gateway Address

  • Modem Make & Model
