Overview
This page is intended to guide the user through the replacement of a touchscreen monitor in a LaundryCard X-Changer cabinet.
WARNING
Disconnect any electrical device from power before performing any work on the device. It is recommended that the instructions contained herein be performed by individuals who are qualified to perform these tasks. A minimum of two (2) people is recommended for mounting/unmounting the touchscreen to the X-Changer cabinet.
Step-by-step guide
Step 1 – Unmounting the monitor
Disconnect any connected cables (power, video, touchscreen input (USB)) from the monitor.
Set the cables inside the cabinet so they can be used later.
To begin unmounting the monitor, verify what cabinet version you are working with.
In V1 cabinets remove the three kep nuts to the left and right of the touchscreen. Unfasten the kep nuts fully then pull the monitor assembly back toward you to remove it.
Do not remove the four-center VESA screws.
For V2 cabinets remove the four center VESA screws and push the monitor outward.
Do not remove the kep nights to the left and right of the mounting bracket.

Step 2 – Installing the replacement touchscreen
Before mounting a touchscreen to a specific cabinet type, the touchscreen will need to be attached to its respective bezel.
Step 3 – Configuring and calibrating the touchscreen
The latest Configure Hardware tool within LaundryCard v9.1.9 or newer can recognize whether the installed touchscreen is an Elo or Zuljana touchscreen and apply the appropriate settings.
After the hardware installation, open Windows Explorer by either pressing the Windows Key and clicking the Windows Explorer colored manila folder or using the Windows shortcut WIN+E.
Navigate to D:\Setup\InstallProcs.
Run the configurehardware.cmd script.
Select option G to configure just the touchscreen.
The appropriate drivers and settings (including the Calibration Tool for Elo touchscreens) will then be installed.
When an Elo touchscreen is installed, direct interaction with the touchscreen may be required if the display is not already calibrated.
With Zuljana touchscreens, Configure Hardware will restart the system after a new monitor is installed before reaching the diagnostic screen for post-config testing if a Zuljana touchscreen has never been used on the X-Changer in question.
Manual Calibration (Elo Only)
Upon rebooting the computer:
When KeepAGoin is visible and the startup countdown displays, select the Pause button on the screen.
May take a couple of tries if the monitor is poorly uncalibrated.
Press the Windows key on the keyboard to bring up the taskbar.
Begin typing the application name 'Control Panel' until the search populates the Control Panel.
Select the control panel settings option 'Elo Touchscreen'.
(If you do not see the settings option then the Elo software will need to be installed.)
Under the "Properties 1" tab, click the Align button and follow the prompts to align the touchscreen.
Close the Elo Touchscreen Control Panel window and bring back up the KeepAGoin window.
Click the Refresh button to restart the startup countdown.
