LaundryCard v9.1.2+, alongside the April 2021 LaundryCard Live update, adds the feature of custom permissions for remote users (Attendants, Managers, User-Permitted Employees, etc.).
This document will highlight the necessary steps required for requesting employee users access to LaundryCard Live with a LaundryCard V9 system with custom permissions in Manager's Options based on store owner or primary contact preferences.
IMPORTANT
This feature is only available with LaundryCard v9.1.2+ and is not compatible with v8 or earlier systems.
This feature requires a request to our LaundryCard Live Administrators.
Store owners cannot make any changes themselves to custom permissions for remote access.

What You Will Need
When making a request with CCI Technical Support to add a remote user with custom permissions, the following information is required:
- Store Number
- Your Name
- User's Name.
- User's Email Address.
- User's Unique LaundryCard Number.
- A Unique LaundryCard Pin Number for the user, if not already assigned (max. 4 digits).
- A list of Enabled Permissions.
- This may come in the form of a typed list, viewing a card number's permissions directly, or for a more hands-on approach, you may follow the Permissions page guide at the end of this document for reference.
What Happens Next
After verification of (or with) the store owner or primary contact, for new users, you will receive an email with the user's credentials and a temporary password to pass on to the requested user once the request has been processed. Existing users may only receive a confirmation of a completed request.
This response email typically arrives 1-2 Business Days after the remote user access request (with custom permissions) with CCI Technical Support has been made.
Should the user's account be newly established, or if required upon completion of request for an existing user, the user will be instructed to reset their password and/or enroll by logging in to http://password.laundrycard.com/ with the username and temporary password provided.
Passwords require a minimum of 8 characters, including at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character (example: P@ssw0rd)
Note: It is strongly recommended to not use the example password as the user's actual password.
Once completed, the user will be able to access LaundryCard Live with their username and newly created password at http://live.laundrycard.com/

Card Permissions Guide
Below is a visual aide of the various permissions available for LaundryCard remote users. Please note these permissions are locally accessible at the X-Changer level with manager-level privileges or with 'Allow setting Permissions for Employee Cards' enabled.
Legend
The color-coded legend highlights what becomes active when a checkbox in the Main Menu section is selected. In order for an enabled sub-menu permission to be visible, its Main Menu counterpart must also be enabled.
Tips
- If a user loses their unique LaundryCard for any reason, another request for account updating with a new LaundryCard number would need to be made.
- A single user cannot have multiple LaundryCard numbers assigned to the same user account.
- The LaundryCard has to already be an activated, existing, dispensed card.
- If the user does not already have a pin number (max. 4 digits) set to their unique employee LaundryCard's details, a pin number would need to be set up with (or provided to) Support.
