Step-by-step guide
Step 1 - Installing the lock
- Disassemble the the Service Lock (098760) by removing the kep nut, kep ring, cam, and mounting nut from the lock assembly.
- Push the lock core through the opening on the cover of the Printer Cabinet (C-0665) and orient it so that the inserted key is vertically parallel to the longer sides of the cabinet.
- Slide the cam onto the lock shaft with the protrusions facing upward.
- Slide on the kep ring and secure it with the remaining kep nut.
Step 2 - Mounting the printer cabinet
The Receipt Printer cannot be mounted inside of an X-Changer cabinet.
- Determine a suitable mounting location . Examples include:
- Behind a knockout wall. On a shelf in-(wall or shelf) and remove the appropriate knockout.
- The printer cabinet should be in between both X-Changers . Cable tied on a table. or on the side of one of them for easy access.
- Mark the Printer Cabinet (C-0665) cable opening on the mounting surface and drill a 1" opening in at the site of the mounting surface to allow cables to pass through.
- Attach the Printer Cabinet (C-0655) to the mounting surface with appropriate hardware (not providedincluded).
Step 3 - Installing the printer in the printer cabinet
- Pass the USB Cable(C-1330) and Power Supply cable (C-0667) cables through the opening and connect printer cabinet opening.
- Connect the cables to the Receipt Printer (C-0666).
- Using the slotted holes on the Receipt Printer , mount it (C-0666), mounting the printer to the Printer Cabinet (C-0665).
- Adjust the printer
- so it sits toward the rear of the cabinet

- Load paper into the printer by lifting up on the paper bar.
- Lock the bar back into place and open the feeder release by pulling the blue lever.
- Pull paper across the feeder and press down on the feeder assembly until it locks into place.
- Close the Printer Cabinet printer cabinet and turn the key to secure the lock.
Step 4 - Final connections
- Connect the Print Server to the USB Cable USB cable (C-1330) to the X-Changer A's PC.
- If the cable is unable to reach X-Changer A, then connect it to X-Changer B's PC.
- Connect the Cat5 Cablecable (C-0178) to the IOGear Print Server and (C-0618).
- Connect the opposite end of the Cat5 cable (C-0178) to the network switch in the closest X-Changer A.
- If the cable is unable to reach X-Changer A, then connect it to X-Changer B's network switch.
- Connect the Power Supply to the Receipt Printer and an appropriate Printer power supply cable (C-0667) to a power outlet.
- Connect the IOGear Print Server power supply to the Print Server and to an appropriate cable (C-0618) to a power outlet.

Step 5 - Setting up the printer drivers
You have now successfully installed the Receipt Printer.
In order to set up the printer for the LaundryCard system, you will need to contact CCI Technical Support. You can reach them at 630-930-5115, option 2, Mon-Sat between 8 AM and 7 PM CST.
