Disconnect any connected cables (power, video, touchscreen input (USB)) before proceeding.

Unmount the existing monitor from the bracket.

Unmount existing monitor from cabinet.

  • For v1 cabinets, three (3) bracket kep nuts to the left and right of the touchscreen should be unfastened to pull the mounting assembly back to remove touchscreen. DO NOT remove the four (4) center VESA screws in this step if replacing a monitor in a v1 cabinet!
    • This would also require unmounting the card dispenser tray, as the brackets share two of the same mounted bolt threads.
  • For v2 cabinets, only the four (4) VESA screws (Green) should be unfastened to unmount the touchscreen from its mounted bracket from the front of the X-Changer door.

The Configure Hardware Tool

Image Added

The latest Configure Hardware tool within LaundryCard v9.1.9 or newer is able to recognize whether the installed touchscreen is an Elo or Zuljana touchscreen and apply the appropriate settings.

  1. After hardware install, open Windows Explorer by either pressing the Windows Key and clicking the Windows Explorer colored manila folder or use the Windows shortcut WIN+E.
  2. Navigate to D:\Setup\InstallProcs.
  3. Run the configurehardware.cmd script.
  4. Select option G to configure just the touchscreen.

The appropriate drivers and settings (including the Calibration Tool for Elo touchscreens) will then install.

When an Elo touchscreen is installed, direct interaction with the touchscreen may be required if the display is not already calibrated.

With Zuljana touchscreens, Configure Hardware will restart the system after a new monitor install before reaching the diagnostic screen for post-config testing, if a Zuljana touchscreen has never been used on the X-Changer in question.

Note
titleNote

If the Zuljana touchscreen is not recognized on a V9 system after install, update the LaundryCard application v9.1.9 or newer.

Manual Calibration (Elo Only)

Note
titleNote

Zuljana Touchscreen Monitors use a ten (10) finger capacitive multitouch panel and do not require calibration.

However, certain functions will need to be modified at a software level to accommodate for regular X-Changer use.

Please contact CCI Technical Support for further information and assistance.
