  1. Insert a Manager's card (or a card with maintenance permissions) on the Backup X-Changer and access the Maintenance menu.

  2. Press the Restart System button.

  10. Connect the keyboard to an available USB port on the computer and press the Windows key located along the bottom row.

               

  11.  A Start menu will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. Using the touch screen or a mouse, click Shut Down.

    1. In version 9 you will need to press the power button, located on the bottom left corner of the Start menu.

  12. A window appears which allows log off, restart, or shut down. Select the desired option then click OK.

  13. Wait for the computer to shut down. All lights on the front of the computer should turn off and the monitor will go blank.
