Step 1 - Remove Control Head from X-Changer Cabinet |
- Flip the white rocker switch on the rear of the control head to the 'Off' position.
- Disconnect all cables from the front and rear of the control head unit.
- Technical Support recommends taking a picture of the existing connections with a camera or smart phone as a reference for the re-installation process.
- Remove the screws securing the control head wings to the X-Changer frame.

Step 2 - Remove Control Head Wings |
- Using the 3/16" Hex driver, remove the screws securing the wings to the control head.
- Set screws aside for reassembly.

Step 3 - Open Control Head |
- Remove the screws indicated in the composite image below.
- Slowly lift the top panel - internal cable connections will prevent it from being removed entirely.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- Disconnect the parallel (ribbon) cables.
- Top panel may now be completely removed.

Step 4 - Remove Failed Power Supply |
- Note the location of the existing wires connected to the power supply that requires replacement.
- The larger power supply is the 15 volt supply and the smaller is the 12 volt supply.
- Technical Support recommends taking a picture of the existing wire connections with a camera or smart phone as these connections must be exactly duplicated with the replacement power supply.
- Remove screws securing wires to power supply.
- Remove screws securing power supply to control head case (located on bottom of control head).
- Lift the power supply free of the control head case.

- Reverse the process listed in Steps 1-4 to install the power supply.
- Turn the orange plastic screw adjacent to the wiring screws clockwise until it stops (do not overturn).
