Rebooting helps prevent software problems before they happen. It is recommended that this be done on a monthly basis after business hours. Doing so refreshes memory so Windows can better correct itself, and restarts any programs that have stopped. This can be initiated by owners remotely, but requires a confirmation button press on-site by the store attendant.

Determining the Primary System

LaundryCard software versions 6.5 and higher display Primary and Backup indicators in the upper left hand corner of the screen when primary LaundryCard applications are running.

The Primary will be labeled "Database" in the top yellow section underneath "Local Computer"
The Backup will be labeled "BackupDB"

For the above example, X-Changer A is the Primary and X-Changer B is the Backup. In Store Status, verify the the right side of the screen labeled "Remote Computer" is displaying the same database status information as the left side.

Using Store Status to Determine Primary System
In V5 and V6, the Primary database will be in 'Database' row. If CCI1 is listed here, that corresponds to X-Changer A. CCI2 corresponds to X-Changer B. | In V7 and V8, the Primary database is clearly labeled as such in the top row of the System Status section. |
