Step 1 - Initiate Reboot

  1. Insert Manager's card into Backup X-Changer and click the Shutdown button.
  2. Choose the appropriate button to reboot the Backup X-Changer.

Step 2 - Confirm Reboot

  1. Windows will prompt for confirmation of reboot. Click OK to confirm.

Step 1 - Perform Failover

  1. Insert Manager's card into Primary X-Changer and click the Check Messages button. Verify no database backup errors are present.
    1. If database backup errors are present, contact Technical Support before proceeding.
  2. Click the Back button.
  3. Click the Shutdown button.
  4. Choose Failover to Backup.

Step 2 - Confirm Reboot

  1. KeepAGoin will display a popup indicating a database backup has been completed. Click OK to confirm.

  2. Windows will prompt for confirmation of reboot. Click OK to confirm.

After this step is completed, the computer will shut down and restart. During this time, the original Backup X-Changer will become the new Primary X-Changer and may display a network connection error or experience a slow-down until the original Backup X-Changer has restarted.  

  1. Click OK when prompted.
  2. A database backup will be performed. Click OK when prompted by the completion notification.
  3. After the LaundryCard program closes, another prompt will appear to confirm restarting Windows. Click Cancel.

  2. Wait for computer to shutdown. All lights on the front of the computer should turn off and the monitor will go blank.
