This guide will show you on how to remove the hard drive from a XE2 Computer

Requirements

XE2 Computer

Remove top lid of computer . Pull by pulling the release lever up towards you and removeupwards.

Push up on CD Tab then slide casing towards you to remove.

Unlock hard drive tab to the unlock position

Lift up under hard drive casing.

Remove Sata cables from hard drive.

Pinch blue plastic hard drive tabs in and slide out hard drive towards you all the way till the drive is fully removed.
Image Removed Image RemovedRemove CD-Rom drive by lifting release tab and pulling back.

Locate hard drive and set its blue tab to unlocked.

Lift hard drive casing upward and unplug connection cables

Pinch blue tabs and slide hard drive back until fully removed.

Remove hard drive from blue casing and install replacement drive, then reverse instructions to reassemble.
