The installer will need to install the MEI credit card bezel to the front of the X-Changers. You will need an 11/32” deep well socket and a #2 Philips head screwdriver.

1. Remove the cassette cash box from the bill acceptor located on the inside of the X-Changer door.
   
2. Unplug the power (smaller) and data (larger) cables from the right side of the bill acceptor.
   
3. Remove the four 11/32” nuts holding the bill acceptor on the door and set aside. Take care not to let it drop to the floor.

4. Pull the bill acceptor / credit card bezel out of the X-Changer door towards inside .
   Image RemovedImage RemovedImage RemovedRemove 4 Phillips head screws off the front of the Bill Acceptor and remove the black plastic bezel and the steel plate underneathand place on a flat surface.
5. Place the Credit Card Bezel on the Bill Acceptor and replace attach with the provided screws. Take care not to kink the cable on the bezel. 
   
6. Place bill acceptor with the attached MEI credit card bezel back into the door of the X-Changer.
   
7. Put green ground cable on to screw stud and replace the four 11/32 kep nuts and hand tighten.
8. Thread serial cable around the door harness to the back of the computer.
9. Install the serial adapter to the open port on the back of the computer.
10. Plug the flat serial connection into the adapter until it clicks.
11. Plug the round barrel connector into the adapter then plug into an available outlet on the surge protectors. Do not plug into the battery backup at the bottom.
