Kiosk dimensions

The FasCard Touch Kiosk can be mounted in or on an existing wall or can be pedestal mounted.  It It offers customers end-users a convenient way to view and manager their Loyalty account, add balance to an existing card, or obtain a new card.

Electrical Requirements

The FasCard Touch Kiosk operates on 120vac 120VAC and comes with a standard 12' grounded power cord.  The The bottom of the base has a 1/2" knock out that can be used to mount a standard 120vac 120VAC power outlet inside the base. Additional holes may be drilled to accommodate other conduit sizes. Card Concepts Inc. recommends using an outlet with an isolated ground and that an an Uninterruptible Power Supply  (not included) be used to protect the kiosk from power fluctuations and outages.

Unpacking

the Touch Kiosk

The Touch Kiosk is packaged in a corrugated shipping assembly with an upper and lower tray as well as a protective front panel and shipping carton.  Use Use caution when cutting securing straps and packing tape.

   Install the compression anchors per manufacturer instructions.  Place the base over the anchors and secure with the appropriate washers / and bolts.  Run the 12' power cord into the pedestal base. the Pedestal Base.  Feed the power cable up from the pedestal into the spacer unit. Secure the spacer unit ( the Pedestal into the Spacer Unit (P/N: C-5626). Secure the Spacer Unit to the pedestal base using the Pedestal Base using the 8/32 machine screws (included). Feed the power cable up from the spacer unit into the printer drawer. Open the printer drawer ( the Spacer Unit into the Printer Drawer (P/N: C-5623). Open the Printer Drawer and secure to the spacer unit using the Spacer Unit using the 8/32 machine screws (included). Feed the power cable up from the printer drawer the Printer Drawer into the Touch Kiosk (P/N: C-5610R1). Secure the Touch Kiosk (c-5610) the Touch Kiosk to the top of the printer drawer the Printer Drawer using 8/32 machine screws (included).  Run additional power cable slack into the in the Touch Kiosk Kiosk to provide ample room for the kiosk drawer the Kiosk door to open and close. Secure the cord using the cord-keeper provided (shown above).  Ui tab title Pedestal mount Set the Pedestal Base in the desired location. Verify access to power by using the 12' power cord (included). in the Touch Kiosk.  Mark the base position portion through the mounting holes or use the . Drill out the marked locations location to host a 1/2" compression anchor (not included) or similar device.  Ui step Ui step ui-
   tab title Wall	Verify Set the Touch Kiosk Kiosk (with drawer removed) on back onto the mounted brackets and seat against the target wall, centering on the brackets.  Secure the kiosk the Touch Kiosk to the target wall with appropriate 1/4" lag screws or anchors.  Mark the bottom of the kiosk the Kiosk through holes in the mounting bracket. ui-step   Drill upward upwards into empty kiosk empty Kiosk on marked targets.  Install the appropriate bolts and nuts, securing kiosk the Kiosk to the wall mount brackets.  When kiosk the Kiosk is secure secured, re-install kiosk drawer the Kiosk door.  Run the power cable with additional slack into the the Touch Kiosk Kiosk to provide ample room for the kiosk  Kiosk drawer to open and close. Secure the cord using the cord-keeper provided (shown above).  Warning mount Before installing on a wall, verify that the target wall will sustain the weight of the kiosk without damage. Ui steps ui-step Identify the target mounting location.  ADA notice Check the ADA's website for your local requirements.  Secure two wall mount brackets (not included) to the target wall (studs or concrete concrete only) with appropriate fasteners by following . Remove the Touch Kiosk Kiosk drawer (containing screen and computer components) from kiosk the Kiosk by depressing the release levers on the door slides. Pull forward to remove. ui-step   Set the Touch Kiosk Kiosk (with drawer removed) on the mounted brackets and seat against target wall, centering on the brackets.  Mark four drill points at stud locations on rear kiosk door. If target wall is concrete, mark the following depending on location: If using studs, mark the four drill points on the Rear Kiosk Door.  If using a concrete wall, mark the four drill points equally spaced approximately 1" inside the outer edge of the door.  Remove kiosk the Kiosk from the wall brackets and and drill 3/8" holes into the marked targets on the rear door.  Ui step ui-
   tab title In-	warning Place the empty cabinet into the rough opening to determine the appropriate overhang for the exposed cabinet face.  Consider the thickness of the wall trim required to cover the rough opening after install installing.  Mark the location of the target wall on the inside of the cabinet in two places (at minimum). Remove the empty cabinet from the wall and drill a 3/8" hole in each target area. ui-step   Place the empty cabinet in the rough opening with a few 1/8" - to 1/4" shims below and beside the cabinet.  Secure the cabinet to the rough opening with 1/4" lag screws or anchors as appropriate (do not over-tighten).  Run the power cable with additional slack into the the Touch Kiosk Kiosk to provide ample room for the kiosk the Kiosk drawer to open and close. Secure the cable using the cord-keeper provided (shown above).  Trim the surrounding visible rough opening with your desired wall trim (not included).  wall mount Verify that the target wall will sustain the weight of the kiosk without damage. Ui steps ui-step Identify the desired target mounting location.  ADA notice Check the ADA's website for your local requirements.  Prepare a rough opening in the target wall roughly 1/2" larger, in both dimensions length and width, than the Touch Kiosk. If mounting with the printer drawer ( the Printer Drawer (P/N: C-5623), account for the additional height.  Remove the Touch Kiosk Kiosk drawer (containing the screen and computer components electronics) from kiosk the Kiosk by depressing the release levers on the door slides. Activate the Touch Kiosk

1. Configure the Touch Kiosk equipment type on the FasCard Admin Site - Equipment Setup page.
2. Add the Touch Kiosk to the machine list with an appropriate reader address on the FasCard Admin Site - Machine Setup page.
3. Connect the power cable that was fed upwards into the cabinet during installation.
