  2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

  1. Remove coin dropand installC-0900Drop Cover.
    1. Secure withC-1013Nut.
  2. Spread theC-0936 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.
  3. Insert theC-0936 Vault Mount Bracket into the coin vault.
  4. Attach C-0134 Standoffs to the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket.
  5. Secure reader to the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket using C-0146 Screws.

Connect Power

  1. Tap power as described in the document using theC-5101 Spade Taps provided.
  2. Connect theC-5210 Power Adapter Harnessto the installed spade taps.
  3. Connect theC-5210 Power Adapter Harness to theC-5602 Power Converter.
  4. Connect theC-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on theC-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.
  5. Connect the opposite end of theC-5210 Power Adapter Harnessto theC-5602 Power Converter.
  6. Connect theC-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on theC-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Connect Coin Sense Harness

  1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Dropand connect theC-5334Combination Coin/Start Harnessto the Coin Drop.
    1. Blue wires go to common (Co) and normally open (NO) on coin switch.

  1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.
  2. Connect theC-5335 Combination Harness (3-pin, black connector) to the Coin Eye Sensor.
    1. The White wire (female) spade connectors bundled with the black connector attach to theCoin Blocksolenoid.

  1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Drop.
    1. Connect the C-5334 to the Coin Drop.
    2. Connect the Violet wires to Blue wires 36 & 35.
    3. White wires wrapped with Violet go to Red wires 207 & 30.
    4. White wires wrapped with Blue go to Brown coin blocking solenoid wires.
      1. Wrap the connectors in electrical tape to keep the bare terminals from exposing.

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in theF1: FasCard Reader Mounting Guide.
  2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harnessto port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. Connect the free end of theCoin Sense Harnessto port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of theC-5500 Power Harness to port 1.
  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
