Step 1 - Initiate Reboot

Frequency of Maintenance: Monthly Insert a Manager's card (or a card with maintenance permissions) on the Backup X-Changer and click the Shutdown access the Maintenance menu. Press the Restart System button. Image Added Choose the appropriate button to reboot the Backup X-Changer. Step 2 - Confirm Reboot Image Added Windows will prompt for the confirmation of reboot. Click OK to confirm. Image Added

After this step is completed, the computer will shut down and restart. During this time, the original Backup X-Changer will become the new Primary X-Changer and may display a network connection error or experience a slow-down until the original Backup X-Changer has restarted.  

• Click OK when prompted.
• A database backup will be performed. Click OK when prompted by the completion notification.
• After the LaundryCard program closes, another prompt will appear to confirm restarting Windows. Click OK.

   1. If database backup errors are present, contact CCI Technical Support before proceeding.

4. Press the Back button.

5. Press the Restart System button.

6. Choose Failover to Backup.

7. KeepAGoin will display a popup indicating a database backup has been completed. Click OK to confirm.

8. Windows will prompt for the confirmation of reboot. Click OK to confirm.

   1. If you do not receive this prompt, go back to the Restart System menu and reboot the desired X-Changer.

Using a manager or attendant card, verify that no database backup errors exist on the Check Messages page. Insert Manager's card to Primary X-Changer and click the Shutdown button. LaundryCard Versions 5 and 6: Select Failover to Backup and click Go.   Version 6: Do not uncheck Auto Start.	LaundryCard Versions 7 and 8: Select Failover to Backup.

Instructions1.  Connect Connect the keyboard to an available USB port on the computer and press the Windows key located along the bottom row.             2. Image Added  A Start menu will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen. Using the touch screen or a mouse, click Shut Down. 3.  A In version 9 you will need to press the power button, located on the bottom left corner of the Start menu. Version 7 Version 8 Version 9 Image Added Image Added Image Added Wait for the computer to shut down. All lights on the front of the computer should turn off and the monitor will go blank.

After this step is completed, the computer will shut down and restart. During this time, the original Backup X-Changer will become the new Primary X-Changer and may display a network connection error or experience a slow-down until the original Backup X-Changer has restarted.
