Install Mounting Hardware

  • Place the C-5700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.

  • Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

    • Refer to FasCard Mounting Guide for further instructions.

  • Remove coin drop and install C-0900 Drop Cover.

    1. Secure using the (4) C-1013 6-32 Keps Nuts.

  • Spread the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.

  • Insert the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket into the coin vault.

    • Secure the C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracketto the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket with the (2) C-0144 8-32 x 2" Screws.

    1. Remove coin drop and install C-0900 Drop Cover.

      1. Secure with C-1013 Nut.

    2. Spread the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.

    3. Insert the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket into the coin vault.

    4. Attach C-0134 Standoffs to the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket.

    5. Secure reader to the C-0936 Vault Mount Bracket using C-0146 Screws.

    Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101 Spade Taps provided.

  • Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps.

  • Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.

  • Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

  • Connect the opposite end of the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.

  • Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

    1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Drop and connect the C-5334 Combination Coin/Start Harness to the Coin Drop.

      1. Blue wires go to common (Co) and normally open (NO) on coin switch.

    1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.

    2. Connect the C-5335 Combination Harness (3-pin, black connector) to the Coin Eye Sensor.

      1. The White wire (female) spade connectors bundled with the black connector attach to the Coin Block solenoid.

    1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Drop and connect the C-6334 Combination Coin/Start Harness to the Coin Drop.

      1. Blue wires go to common (Co) and normally open (NO) on coin switch.

      3. White wires wrapped with Violet go to Red wires 207 & 30.

      4. White wires wrapped with Blue go to Brown coin blocking solenoid wires.

        1. Wrap the connectors in electrical tape to keep the bare terminals from exposing.
