To configure more than 254 machines some special steps must be taken.
With the exception of Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems being set to Machine ID 350, a specific series of steps are

Updating CCI.INI for All X-Changers

Open D:\CCI\Process_Initialization\CCI.ini
Open the CCI.ini file for every X-Changer for editing.
In the
[STATE_MACHINE]section add the following line where ### is any number between 255 and 320.MAX_MACHINE_ID=###
Save the file and repeat this process for every X-Changer.
The Machine Config screen will now show numbers up the value specified in CCI.ini.

Once machines above #255 are configured and saved, identifying which Machine IDs are using different addresses without navigating back into Machine Config can be found under System Setup → Machine Info.
