Overview
The configuration section of the system is for configuring new equipment (washers, dryers, and LaundryCard readers). This is often done only during the initial installation of the system and should not be accessed during normal business hours. Follow the steps below to add a machine to your system and assign a reader.
Equipment Setup and Configuration
WARNING: Entering the config module will stop all card readers from accepting cards, and preventing new equipment starts!
To access this function, your specific Card ID (The 12-digit number on the back of the card) must have CONFIGURATION (EQUIPMENT/MACHINE SETUP) selected under SYSTEM SETUP in permission settings. Please see your store Owner/Manager to update your permission settings. See Permission Settings and Functions for more information on how to set permissions.
Insert your card.
Select System Setup.
Select Card Reader Setup.
The System will shut down all card readers temporarily while the new equipment is being added.
Select Add New Equipment Type.
Add each new piece of equipment and complete the fields below.
Selecting Save then Next will save the information and bring up the same screen with completed fields except the Control Field to enter the next equipment type.

Reader Type | L1 (Wired) L2 (Wireless) Sets the version of LaundryCard reader for specified equipment type. Can also be set in Equipment Setup after the new equipment type has already been added. |
Free Dry Awards | Number of free dry awards allowed on this machine |
Vend Price | The cost of this machine for each start |
Bonus Allowed | When checked, Bill Bonus allowed on this machine |
Discount Allowed | When checked, percentage discount is allowed on this machine |
W2W Points Allowed | When checked, machine allows customer to accumulate Wash to Win points |
Start Hours | The time the machine can be used |
End Hours | The time the machine is no longer available to be used |
Cycle Time | The length of each cycle on the machine |
Pulse Length | The length of time the electrical signal is sent to the machine to represent a coin drop. |
Door Sensor | When checked, allows compatible equipment to allow the reader to 'sense' whether the door is closed. Do not change this option once your store is set up. |
Equipment Types | 1 = Washer 2 = Dryer 4= Vending 5= Door 6 = Door Attendant 7 = Door Employees 10 = Other 100+ = Secure Machine |
Current Equipment Types | List of equipment types already added to the system by a user. Each section of the table is grouped by equipment type (Washer, Dryer, etc.). |
Any Current Equipment Types created cannot be deleted conventionally from the system, but will not display in Equipment Setup unless assigned to a machine number.

Machine Reader Setup
Select System Setup.
Select Card Reader Setup.
The readers will temporarily stop for configuration.
Select Machine Config.
Machine Overview and Assignment
From the Machine Overview page, to assign a reader to a machine, select the machine number in the left column. Note that these numbers may have been previously assigned to each machine during installation.

Field | Description |
Card Reader Address | The assigned number given to the reader during installation. |
Line Number | The physical line connected to the control head on the X-Changer used to communicate with the reader. For wireless lines, the line number would range between 111 and 114, depending on what is assigned in System Setup → Wifi Setup.

Line Position | Where in a daisy-chain of readers a specific reader may be located. Does not impact or affect where the reader is specifically installed and is used as reference only. |
Equipment Type ID | The identifier for each equipment type established in the previous step of Machine Configuration. Can be entered manually or selected from the listed Equipment Type table. |
Date in Service | The installation date. Defaults to the date of adding, if not manually entered. |

Field | Description |
Status | The current status code assigned to the machine number from the Equipment Status page. |
Last Start | Date and Time of last reported machine start. |
Retry Fails | Total failed attempts at re-establishing communication. |
Comm Errs | Total amount of communication errors the card reader had previously experienced in attempting to communication with the X-Changers and/or machine since machine number was assigned. |
Time Outs | Total amount of communication timeouts accumulated since machine number was assigned. |
Total Vend | Total amount spent at machine since its assignment. |

Save | Saves the entered data in Machine Config. |
Next | Advances to the next machine number. |
Delete | Deletes the current selected machine number. |
When finished, click Back and then Done. This will restart all of the card readers.
