Connect the one of the ends of the C-5256 Machine Start Harness to the positive terminal from the door strike power source. Connect the other spade connector to the positive terminal on the door strike. Note: Depending on the door strike installed, spade terminals may not be available or may be too far apart for the harness to reach. In this case, cut the ends of the C-5256 Machine Start Harness and then cut and splice into the positive lead wire(In any pairing.).
The negative lead from the door strike power source should remain connected to the negative terminal on the door strike. Note: If the door strike requires a normally closed circuit instead of a normally open one, move the wire in the 6th position to the 4th position on the C-5256 Machine Start Harness.
