As of April March 2022, F2 Readers no longer support NFC. Visa Mastercard made the decision to no longer support NFC contactless payments on non-EMV compatible hardwarehas announced that they are discontinuing support for Contactless (MSD) payment transactions, as such this feature will be disabled on F2 card readers after March 31st 2022. The F3 FasCard Reader, meanwhile, supports the full range of EMV functionality (Chip, Tap-To-Charge NFC, Smart Device NFC, Swipe Fallback). Currently, there is no ETA on when these will arrive due to chip shortages and the effect that has on the manufacturing process.
