There is no terminal block on that machine and the only way to get power is to tap the harness C-5338. The Brown and Blue to two hots and the green to ground. They will need wire taps to do this otherwise they would need a different harness.

  2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

  1. Install the C-5702 Chase Nipple into the C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket using the C-5703 Nut.
  2. Feed the remaining harness ends through the open face of the Coin Vault.
  3. Spread the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.
  4. Feed remaining harness ends through the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket.
  5. Insert the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket into the Coin Vault.
  6. Feed the remaining harness ends through the combined C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket.
  7. Secure the combined C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket to the C-6939 Vault Mount Bracket with the C-0144 Screws.

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document by connecting the C-5338 Power Adapter Harness to the power distribution panel inside the machine or tapping as needed.
    1. 120vac- Connect Brown and Blue wires to connector #2 closest to outside of machine and #4 on terminal side closest to circuit board.
    2. 240vac- Connect Brown and Blue wires to connectors 3 and 5 on the terminal side closest to the circuit board.
    3. Secure the green wire beneath the ground screw.
  2. Connect the opposite end of the C-5338 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.
  3. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

  1. Connect the C-5256 Machine Start Harness to the factory coin drop harness previously connected to the microswitch.

Connect and Mount Reader

  3. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Harness to port 1.
  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
