3673 Reader Install Guide

This document assumes the installer has working knowledge of hand tools and of the target machine in question. Physical modification of machine may be required, including modification of machine panels and internal modification to accommodate cables or harnesses.

For card only installations on coin prepped models, two different mounting kits are required. One for the top pocket and one for the bottom pocket.

Installation

Install Mounting Hardware

Connect Power

Connect Machine Interface Harness

Connect and Mount Reader

Machine Configuration

Washer -

Encore FLW Controls

Press the Service Switch to enter Service Mode. The display will go blank.
Press the Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse buttons simultaneously. The display will show either "0 00" if in coin mode and "1 00" if in card mode.
If in coin mode, press the Start button. The display will begin flashing.
Press the Cold button to change the left-most digit from "0" to "1".
Press the Start button. The display will stop flashing.
Press the Service Switch to exit Service Mode.
