  1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.

  2. Connect the C-6250 Coin Sense Harness to the harness connected to the Coin Drop.

  1. Run C-5240 Machine Start Harness and C-6250 Coin Sense Harness to the second Machine Control Assembly.

  2. Connect C-5240 Machine Start Harness to the H3 connection and the C-6250 Coin Sense Harness to the Coin 1 connection on the second Machine Control Assembly.

  3. Connect the C-6401 Stack Add-on Board to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) on the F2 reader.

    1. Connect the Machine Start Harness connected to the upper pocket Machine Control Assembly to Unit 1 on the Stack Add-on Board.

    2. Connect the Machine Start Harness connected to the lower pocket Machine Control Assembly to Unit 2 on the Stack Add-on Board.

  4. Connect the Coin Sense Harness connected to the upper pocket Coin Drop to port 3 (Coin 1 Sense Harness Connection Port) on the F2 reader.

  5. Connect the Coin Sense Harness connected to the lower pocket Coin Drop to port 4 (Coin 2 Sense Harness Connection Port) on the F2 reader.

Connect and Mount Reader

 LaundryCard Reader (C-0100, C-0101, C-0102, C-0103)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through mounting bracket.

  2. For serial setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 1 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For coin pulse setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the the Cat5 cables running to and from the adjacent machines to ports labeled 3 (Line Connection Ports) as shown in the image above.

  5. Secure the LaundryCard reader to the bracketry using included hardware.

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through mounting bracket.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For coin pulse setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Power Harness to port 1.

  5. Secure the L2 reader to base as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

 F1 Reader (C-5001)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.

  2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 1 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  5. Connect the free end of the Power Extension Harness to port 4 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  6. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.

 F2/FLEX Reader (C-5401, C-5402, C-5402E)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

  2. For Serial Setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For Pulse Setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    1. For dual coin drop setups connect the secondary Coin Sense Harness to port 4 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  5. Connect the free end of the Power Harness to port 1.

  6. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

Machine Configuration

ACA machines using a serial configuration require dip switch 3 on the Machine Control Board to be set to the 'ON' position. Leave all other dip switches as is.

  • No labels
