OVERVIEW
If your store accepts credit cards, the store operator may set a security feature that will prevent certain credit card transactions that exceed a designated amount (See your manager for this amount). In the case where a customer wants to use the same credit card for more than the specified amount, it is possible for you to override the security feature. Follow the below instructions to verify a credit card.

Verifying a Customer's Credit Card
To access this function, your specific Card ID (The 12-digit number on the back of the card) must have VERIFY CREDIT CARD selected under CARDS in permission settings. Please see your store Owner/Manager to update your permission settings. See Permission Settings and Functions for more information on how to set permissions.
- Insert your card into the X-Changer and select CARDS from the main menu.
- Select VERIFY CREDIT CARD from the screen.
- Ask the customer for their credit card and their photo ID.
- If the name on the card matches the card, and the photo matches the customer, enter the last 4 digits of the credit card number into the screen and press 'Submit'.
- Once complete, the system will allow the customer to use their card beyond the specified limit. Please review any additional procedures your store may have for approving credit card transactions.
