Overview

The Pricing and Features Schedule page is only accessible to users with Admin privileges or with Pricing privileges.  This page is used to configure pricing and feature options for specific equipment types by location group (if enabled).

PRICING AND FEATURES PAGE

The FasCard system allows for multiple Pricing schedules based upon time of day and the day of the week.  The Features schedule also allows certain machine functions and user rewards to be enabled or disabled based upon time and day.  

Equipment types need to be added before configuring the price of each machine.  You can set the equipment types here.


  • The first configured schedule for Pricing or Features becomes the default scheduled.  Subsequent created schedules are configured for Time of Day based pricing.
    • Setting the price to $0.00 will allow FREE starts.
    • Do NOT set the first pricing schedule configuration to $0.00
    • In the event of a loss of power, the system returns to the default pricing and if the first pricing schedule configuration is set to $0.00, this will be the price store patrons will be charged until it's changed by the Store Owner.

ADD A PRICING SCHEDULE

See below how to add a pricing schedule.  This includes information on adding a default pricing schedule as well as Time of Day pricing.

  1. Navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account.
  2. Click the Setup tab.
  3. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  4. Select the equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  5. Select Pricing from the second dropdown menu.
  6. Select the location or location group (if enabled) from the third dropdown menu.
  7. Click Add New.
  8. The very first pricing schedule for any machine will always be the default pricing.  As stated above, never set this to 0.00.
  9. Complete the fields pictured below.  These fields are populated by what is checked in the Equipment Type settings for each machine.  Below we have Machine Start and Top-Off.
  10. Click Save after setting the values

ADD A DEFAULT PRICING SCHEDULE
  1. Enter preferred pricing in all available fields in dollar (x.xx or .xx for amounts less than $1.00) format. Fields will vary based upon machine features and functionality.  As mentioned above, each machine's "FIRST" pricing schedule will be the default.
  2. Click Save.
  3. 'New pricing schedule added.' message is displayed indicating success.
  4. A pricing summary for the configured schedule is displayed.
  5. Once a default pricing schedule has been created, time of day pricing can now be configured.
ADD TIME OF DAY PRICING
  1. Navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account.
  2. Click the Setup tab.
  3. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  4. Select an equipment type from the first dropdown menu that already has a default pricing schedule configured.
  5. Select Pricing from the second dropdown menu.
  6. Select the location or location group (if enabled) from the third dropdown menu.
  7. Click Add New.
  8. Select a starting day and time for time of day pricing to take effect.
  9. Select an ending day and time for time of day pricing to end and revert to the default schedule.
  10. Enter prices in all fields- it is important to fill all fields, including those for prices that are not changing.  These options will appear based on what was set up on the Equipment Types page and the option configuration for each machine.  Click here to learn how to set up the equipment types for the FasCard System.
  11. Click Save to confirm the schedule, or click Cancel.
  12. When schedule is saved, 'New pricing schedule added.' message is displayed indicating success.
  13. A pricing summary for the configured time of day pricing schedule is displayed.
  14. All configured pricing schedules for the equipment type will be displayed and summarized in the schedule list.
EDIT A PRICING SCHEDULE

To edit a pricing schedule, navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account and follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Setup tab.
  2. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  3. Select the appropriate equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  4. Select Pricing from the second dropdown menu.
  5. Select the appropriate location from the third dropdown menu.
  6. Select the schedule to be edited by clicking on the summary row for the schedule.
  7. Alter the appropriate fields and click Save to preserve the changes, or click Cancel.
DELETE A PRICING SCHEDULE

Only Time of Day pricing schedules may be deleted.  It is not possible to delete the default pricing schedule.  To delete a pricing schedule, navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account and follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Setup tab.
  2. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  3. Select the appropriate equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  4. Select Pricing from the second dropdown menu.
  5. Select the appropriate location from the third dropdown menu.
  6. Select the schedule to be deleted by clicking on the summary row for the schedule.
  7. When the schedule details are displayed, click Delete.
  8. Click OK when prompted to confirm deletion, or click Cancel.

Managing Feature Schedules

ADD A FEATURE SCHEDULE

The Features schedule is used to control machine availability as well as free dry awards and redemption, loyalty points multipliers, and discount availability.  See below on how to add a feature schedule. This includes information on adding a default feature schedule as well as Time of Day features.

Equipment that is scheduled to disallow machine starts will delay shutdown time by 5 minutes if customer payment activity is detected.

  1. Navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account.
  2. Click the Setup tab.
  3. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  4. Select the equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  5. Select Features from the second dropdown menu.
  6. Select the location or location group (if enabled) from the third dropdown menu.
  7. Click Add New.
  8. Machine Start Allowed - this should always be checked in the default schedule unless all machines of this type are out of service.
  9. Discount Allowed - this should be checked if user discounts are allowed on this machine.
  10. Loyalty Points Multiplier - this field indicates the rate of accrual for Loyalty Points. Normal point accrual is 100%, double accrual would be 200%, etc.
  11. Free Drys - this section indicates the number of free dry credits that are earned or used when the machine is activated by a Loyalty account.
  12. Generally washers are set to 'Earn' and dryers are set to 'Redeem'. Set this to 'Disabled' if free dry credits are neither earned or redeemed on the equipment type.
  13. Click Save to confirm schedule, or click Cancel.
  14. When schedule is saved, 'New pricing schedule added.' message is displayed indicating success.
  15. A features summary for the configured default schedule is displayed.
  16. All configured feature schedules for the equipment type will be displayed and summarized in the schedule list.

EDIT A FEATURE SCHEDULE

To edit a feature schedule, navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account and follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Setup tab.
  2. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  3. Select the appropriate equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  4. Select Features from the second dropdown menu.
  5. Select the appropriate location from the third dropdown menu.
  6. Select the schedule to be edited by clicking on the summary row for the schedule.
  7. Alter the appropriate fields and click Save to preserve the changes, or click Cancel.

DELETE A FEATURE SCHEDULE

Only Time of Day feature schedules may be deleted.  It is not possible to delete the default feature schedule.  To delete a feature schedule, navigate to the FasCard Admin site and sign in with an Admin or Pricing account and follow the steps below.

  1. Click the Setup tab.
  2. Click the Pricing & Features link.
  3. Select the appropriate equipment type from the first dropdown menu.
  4. Select Features from the second dropdown menu.
  5. Select the appropriate location from the third dropdown menu.
  6. Select the schedule to be deleted by clicking on the summary row for the schedule.
  7. When the schedule details are displayed, click Delete.
  8. Click OK when prompted to confirm deletion, or click Cancel.
