Remove existing coin box and coin drop/slide.
Remove vault service switch connections from the switch and bridge using the C-5365 Bypass Harness.
Install C-5765-W Vault Bracket over the metercase opening. Secure in place using C-1059 Kep Nuts and C-1070-W Washers.
If installing on a coin slide equipped model the two holes next to the coin slide bolt will need to be enlarged about a 1/4" to allow the mounting studs to pass through the metercase.
Apply C-5027 Label on or near the reader if required for location.

Remove coin drops and coin boxes.
Remove vault service switch connections from the switch and bridge using the C-5365 Bypass Harness.
Take the C-0940 Vault Cover and bend the inner tabs outward.
Insert the C-0940 Vault Cover into the coin box opening. The previously bent tabs should catch the inner lip of the coin vault and secure the bracket in place.
Place the C-5700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.
Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.
Suggested mounting location: Coin drop opening.

Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101 Spade Taps provided.
Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps. Connect the opposite end to the C-5602 Power Converter.
Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.
Connect the C-5250 Coin Sense Harness to the harness connected to the Coin Drop.
Connect Machine Interface Harness
Connect and Mount Reader
Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in the F1: FasCard Reader Mounting Guide.
Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness:
If following steps for a serial Machine Start Harness to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
If following steps for a pulse Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
Connect the free end of the Power Harness to port 1 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
Machine Configuration
ACA machines using a serial configuration require dip switch 3 on the Machine Control Board to be set to the 'ON' position. Leave all other dip switches as is.
