Overview

This page is intended to guide the user through proper rebooting of X-Changer computers. Rebooting the computers can often solve small system issues and should be incorporated into general maintenance on a regular basis. 

Failure to follow the steps below when restarting X-Changer computers can lead to data loss.

Determining the Primary System

Primary and Backup status can also be verified on the Store Status page. The Store Status page can be reached using manager, attendant, and technician cards.

LaundryCard software versions 6.5 and higher display Primary and Backup indicators in the upper left hand corner of the screen when LaundryCard applications are running.  Older software versions require different methods to obtain Primary and Backup information.

Using Store Status to Determine Primary System

LaundryCard Versions 5 and 6

LaundryCard Version 7 and 8

In V5 and V6, the Primary database will be in 'Database' row. If CCI1 is listed here, that corresponds to X-Changer A. CCI2 corresponds to X-Changer B.

In V7 and V8, the Primary database is clearly labeled as such in the top row of the System Status section.

If both X-Changers are displayed as the Database Primary or the Database Backup, contact Technical Support.
