Installing The MEI Credit Card Combo Bezel

The installer will need to install the MEI credit card bezel to the front of the X-Changers. You will need an 11/32” deep well socket and a #2 Philips head screwdriver.

1. Remove the cash box from the bill acceptor located on the inside of the X-Changer door.
   
2. Unplug the power (smaller) and data (larger) cables from the right side of the bill acceptor.
   
3. Remove the four 11/32” nuts holding the bill acceptor on the door and set aside. Take care not to let it drop to the floor. 
   
4. Pull the bill acceptor out of the X-Changer door towards inside and place on a flat surface.
5. Place the Credit Card Bezel on the Bill Acceptor and attach with the provided screws. 
   
6. Place bill acceptor with the attached MEI credit card bezel back into the door of the X-Changer.
   
7. Put the green ground cable onto the screw stud and replace the four 11/32 kep nuts and hand tighten.
   
8. Thread MEI bezel serial cable around the door harness to the back of the computer.
   
9. Install the C-1004B-Y CC Bezel "Y" Cable to the open port on the back of the computer. Usually, the open SUNIX expansion slot serial port near the power cable.
   
10. Plug the flat serial connection from the MEI Bezel into the flat serial connection of C-1004B-Y CC Bezel "Y" Cable until it clicks.
11. Plug the round barrel connector of the C-1004B-PWR CC Bezel Power Cable into the rount barrel connector of the C-1004B-Y CC Bezel "Y" Cable
    
12. Plug the power plug of the C-1004B-PWR CC Bezel Power Cable into an available outlet on the surge protectors.
13. Do not plug into the battery backup at the bottom.
