  1. Place the C-5414 Mounting Bracket on top of the C-6601 Spacer Plate.

  2. Place both Mounting Bracket and Spacer Plate over the mounting hole previously used by the coin drop.

  3. Place the C-6701 Adapter Plate on the opposite side of the machine panel and secure in place using the C-5416 Screws.

  4. Place the C-5710 Rubber Grommet into the circular opening of the C-5414 Mounting Bracket.

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101 Spade Taps provided.

  2. Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps. Connect the opposite end to the C-5602 Power Converter.

  3. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

  1. Run C-5344 Machine Start Harness and C-6348 Coin Sense Harness to the second Machine Control Assembly.

  2. Connect C-5344 Machine Start Harness to the Coin 1 connection and the C-6348 Coin Sense Harness to the coin drop for the second Machine Control Assembly.

  3. Connect the C-6400 Stack Add-on Board to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) on the F2 reader.

    1. Connect the Machine Start Harness connected to the upper pocket Machine Control Assembly to Port 2 on the reader.

    2. Connect the Machine Start Harness connected to the lower pocket Machine Control Assembly to the Stack Add-on Board.

  4. Connect the Coin Sense Harness connected to the upper pocket Coin Drop to port 3 (Coin 1 Sense Harness Connection Port) on the F2 reader.

  5. Connect the Coin Sense Harness connected to the lower pocket Coin Drop to port 4 (Coin 2 Sense Harness Connection Port) on the F2 reader.


Connect and Mount Reader

 F1 Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in F1: FasCard Reader Mounting Guide.

  2. Connect the free end of the C-5344 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. Connect the free end of the C-5343 Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 4 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F1: FasCard Reader Mounting Guide.

 F2, F3, Flex, FlexRF

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in the F2/F3: FasCard Reader Mounting Guide.

  2. Connect the free end of the C-5344 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. Connect the free end of the C-6348 Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Harness to port 1.

  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
