The FasCard Cellular Network offers two network-use configurations. Operators may utilize a FasCard CMR (cellular modem-router) as a primary internet connection or as a cellular backup to conventional internet access. Operators that have received a FasCard Satellite Access Point (SAP) unit prior to Release 14 will require a new Satellite Access Point to add cellular backup service.
