FasCard Cellular Service Plan and Hardware Information
Overview
CCI offers all FasCard customers the ability to add a cellular service plan to benefit from having either an extra source of Internet communications for optimal uptime or to act as a primary Internet solution. Each cellular service plan is outfitted with a Cellular Modem Router (CMR) and appropriate cellular SIM card that can connect to the nearest cell tower to establish an Internet connection for the location's Satellite(s). This page details the hardware requirements and service plans available for CCI Cellular Service for the FasCard system.
Hardware requirements
CCI Cellular Service for FasCard requires a Cellular Modem/Router (CMR) kit, part number C-1495. This item is shipped pre-configured and provisioned with a cellular SIM card. Your account will be charged according to the plan you signed up for, see further plan details below.
Should you need a replacement CMR device only, then you will need to purchase C-1496-V2.
Some FasCard systems may come in an “all-in-one” box configuration, which includes the pre-configured FasCard Satellite and CMR device bundled together.
