  1. Place the C-5700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.

  2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

  1. Remove existing coin box and coin drop.

  2. Install theC-5365Bypass Harnessby removing the coin vault switch and connecting the spade terminal connections to C-5365Bypass Harness.

  3. Bend the side tabs of theC-0936 Bracketoutward and install into the coin vault. The tabs should snap into place securing the bracket.

  4. Attach theC-0133 Standoffsto theBracket.

  5. Attach reader toC-0936Vault Mount BracketusingC-0144Screws.
  6. ApplyC-5033Labelover the coin drop opening.
    1. Optional: ApplyC-5027Label on or near the reader for any accepted credit card issuers.

Connect Power

  1. Tap power as described in the document by connecting theC-5336Power Adapter Harnessto the power distribution panel inside the machine.

    1. 120vac: Connect the blue wire to L1 and the brown wire to N using theC-5101Spade Taps.

    2. 240vac: Connect the blue wire to L1 and the brown wire to L2 using theC-5101Spade Taps.

    3. Secure the green wire beneath the ground screw.

  2. Connect the opposite end of theC-5336Power Adapter Harnessto theC-5602R1Power Converter.

  3. Connect theC-5500Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on theC-5602R1Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Connect Coin Sense Harness

  1. Disconnect the terminal quick connects from the terminal block mounted on top of the coin vault.
    1. Mark the outer green and red quick connects for later use if using C-5265 Machine Start Harness.
  2. Connect the C-5360 Coin Sense Harness to the terminal block tabs. Match each connection by color of the coin sensor wires.

  1. Connect the red wires from the C-5265 Machine Start Harness to the red and green terminal quick connects from the terminal block mounted on the coin vault. Pairing does not matter.
  2. Run the black wires from the C-5265 Machine Start Harness to the SoapLink 24v relay board located on the back of the machine.
  3. Connect black wires from the C-5265 Machine Start Harnessto RO1 and JO1. Pairing does not matter. (See below image for reference.)
  4. Connect the ends of C-5266 Jumper to RO11 and QO3. (See below image for reference.)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.
  2. Connect the free end of the C-5265 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. Connect the free end of the C-5360 Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Harness to port 4.
  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.

Machine Configuration

  1. Enter the machine's System Menu and set the following settings (See machine programming manual for more info.)
    1. Machine Settings
      1. Liquid Soap Supply: Enabled
    2. Payment Settings:
      1. Enable Types: Disable all payment types
      2. Coin Options: Single
      3. Coin 1 Value: Intended Vend Price
      4. Coin 2 Value: Intended Vend Price
      5. Serial Payment System: Disabled
  2. On the FasCard Admin site, create a SingleVend equipment type with the following settings:
    1. Mode: Simple
    2. Pulse Length: 1000
    3. Pulse Interval: 250
    4. Pulse Type: Relay
    5. Sensor Input: Required Off
    6. Show Remaining Time: Disabled
    7. Cycle Time: 600 Seconds
    8. # Pulses: 1
