Overview
This page is intended to help the user navigate the changes to the LaundryCard system required to utilize remote management features from an Apple device running iOS 10 or macOS Sierra.

Connectivity and Security
Apple iOS 10 and macOS Sierra no longer support VPN connections using the PPTP protocol, which LaundryCard firewalls shipped before use .
MikroTik hex lites shipped after this date will be running RouterOS v6.37.1 or greater.
Operators needing to remotely manage their store have two options depending on their current firewall:
Upgrade
Stores currently using one of the below devices must purchase a new C-4311 firewall ($200). These older devices are no longer supported.

Advanced Exchange
Stores with a C-4311 firewall shipped prior to will need to be reconfigured. This cannot be done remotely.

CCI is offering an advanced exchange program for $200 (plus shipping). Upon receiving the original unit back, the full amount (minus shipping) will be credited back.
Equipment Ordering Process
Customers requiring new or exchanged hardware may contact Technical Support using the Support Request Form. Technical Support will make every effort to respond to all non-emergency support requests within 24 hours (Monday through Friday). Please note a preferred method of contact (phone or email) within the body of the message to ensure prompt service.
Configuration
Once the firewall purchase or exchange has occurred and installation has been completed, device configuration information for iOS 10 / macOS Sierra devices can be found in the How-to create a VPN connection in Apple iOS 10+.
