  1. Remove coin drop and install C-0900 Drop Cover.
    1. Secure using the (4) C-1013 6-32 Keps Nuts.
  2. Spread the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.
  3. Insert the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket into the coin vault.
  4. Secure the C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket to the C-6936 Vault Mount Bracket with the (2) C-0144 8-32 x 2" Screws.

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101 Spade Taps provided.
  2. Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps.
  3. Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.
  4. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.
  5. Connect the opposite end of the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.
  6. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Connect Coin Sense Harness

  1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Drop and connect the C-6334 Combination Coin/Start Harness to the Coin Drop.
    1. Blue wires go to common (Co) and normally open (NO) on coin switch.

  1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.
  2. Connect the C-6335 Combination Harness (3-pin, black connector) to the Coin Eye Sensor.
    1. The White wire (female) spade connectors bundled with the black connector attach to the Coin Block solenoid.

Connect Machine Interface Harness

  1. Disconnect the existing wires from the Coin Drop.
    1. Connect the C-6334 Machine Start Harness to the Coin Drop.
    2. Connect the Violet wires to Blue wires 36 & 35.
    3. White wires wrapped with Violet go to Red wires 207 & 30.
    4. White wires wrapped with Blue go to Brown coin blocking solenoid wires.
      1. Wrap the connectors in electrical tape to keep the bare terminals from exposing.

  1. Connect the Violet wire (male) spade connectors to the Coin Sense Input.
  2. Connect the remaining White wire (male) spade connectors to the Coin Block solenoid drive.

Connect and Mount Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting holes.
  2. Connect the white, 6 pin connector from the C-6334 or C-6335 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. (Coin and Card Installations Only) Connect the white, 5 pin connector from the C-6334 or C-6335 Machine Start Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 1 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F2/F3 Reader Mounting Guide.
