  1. Remove existing coin box and coin drop.

  2. Attach the C-5414 Standard Mounting Bracket to the C-6922 Mounting Bracket using the (2) C-5420 10-32 x 1/4" Philips Screws.

  3. Install the C-6922 Mounting Bracket into the coin vault opening. Secure in place using the (2) C-1059 10-32 Keps Nuts.

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document by connecting the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the power distribution panel inside the machine.

    1. 120vac: Connect the brown and blue wires to connector #2 closest to outside of machine and #4 on terminal side closest to circuit board.

    2. 240vac: Connect the brown and blue wires to connectors 3 and 5 on the terminal side closest to the circuit board.

    3. Secure the green wire beneath the ground screw.

  2. Connect the opposite end of the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602R1 Power Converter.

  3. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602R1 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

  1. Connect the C-0126-MLV Machine Start Harness to the RS-232 port on the Machine Control Assembly.
  2. Connect the C-5359 Machine Start Harness to the Input 1 port on the Machine Control Assembly.

Connect and Mount Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole.
  2. ("Pulse - Coin" Installation Only) Connect the free end of the C-5353R1 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. ("Serial - Compass Control" Installation Only) Connect the free end of the C-0126-MLV Machine Start Harness to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
    1. Connect the free end of the C-5359 Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. (Coin and Card Installation Only) Connect the free end of the C-6357 Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  5. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 1 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
