Warning!

This document assumes the installer has working knowledge of hand tools and of the target machine in question. Physical modification of machine may be required, including modification of machine panels and internal modification to accommodate cables or harnesses.

  1. Remove existing coin box and coin drop.

  2. Insert the C-0925A Mounting Bracket into the Coin Vault. Orient the Mounting Bracket so that the threaded studs face outward.

  3. Attach the C-0133 Standoffs to the threaded studs on the Mounting Bracket.

  4. Place C-0925B Mounting Bracket Cover over the Coin Vault so that the opening for the screws line up with the Standoffs.

  5. Once the Machine Start Harness and the Ethernet Cables are ran through the rectangular opening in the brackets, secure the brackets in place by inserting the reader and attaching with C-0141 Screws.

  6. Insert C-0926 Drop Cover into the coin drop opening. Secure in place using C-1044N Kep Nuts.

  7. Apply C-0032 Coin Drop Label to the front of the Drop Cover.

  1. Remove the coin drop and coin box from the machine.

  2. Install the C-0926 Drop Cover into the coin drop opening and secure using the (4) C-1044N M3 Keps Nuts.

  3. Install the C-6925A Mounting Bracket into the coin vault. Orient so the side the threaded fasteners face outwards towards the front of the machine and are on the bottom portion of the bracket. After inserted into the coin vault, the bracket should catch the coin vault opening when facing flush with the front of the machine.

  4. Place the C-6925B Mounting Bracket Cover over the coin vault opening so the outer set of holes align with the threaded holes on the C-6925A Mounting Bracket. Then use the (2) C-5751 8-32 x 2-1/2" Screw to secure both brackets together. The C-6925A Mounting Bracket enables the C-6925B Mounting Bracket Cover to anchor over the front of the machine.

  5. Attach the C-5414 Standard F2 Mounting Bracket to the C-6925B Mounting Bracket Cover using the (2) C-5420 10-35 x 1/4" Pan Screws.

  1. Tap the machine AC power wires using the C-5101 Spade Taps. See FasCard Reader Install - Universal Concepts for more details.

    1. For 120vac models: L1, N, and Ground wires

    2. For 240vac models: L1, L2, and Ground wires

  2. Connect the three wires from the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5101 Spade Taps.

    1. Connect the Blue wire to the L1 tap.

    2. Connect the Brown wire to the N/L2 tap.

    3. Connect the Green/Yellow wire to the Ground tap.

  3. Connect the 3-pin connector from the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the matching connector on the C-5602R1 Power Converter.

  4. Connect the 4-pin connector from the C-5602R1 Power Converter to the matching connector on the C-5500-60 Power Extension Harness.

  5. Run the C-5500-60 Power Extension Harness to the reader mounting location.
