This document assumes the installer has working knowledge of hand tools and of the target machine in question. Physical modification of machine may be required, including modification of machine panels and internal modification to accommodate cables or harnesses.

Serial start harness requires the machine to be equipped with a serial daughterboard. This is not a standard feature and will need to have the installer confirm if this board is present.

When setting up, customer will have to relay what extra option the machine is setup for. Select the appropriate equipment type when setting up equipment on FasCard/LaundryCard.

"Continental ProfitPlus Washer" is only a placehold/legacy equipment. New equipment should be using v59 or newer machine firmware and will require selecting on of the following:
• "Continental ProfitPlus Washer - Delicate"
• "Continental ProfitPlus Washer - Extra Spin"
• "Continental ProfitPlus Washer - Sanitize"

  1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.

  2. Connect the white, male, 8-pin connector from the C-6330 Combination Harness to the harness connected to the Coin Drop.

  1. Connect the red, female, 8-pin connector of the C-6330 Combination Harness to the Coin Acceptor connector on the Machine Control Assembly.

Connect and Mount Reader

 LaundryCard Reader (C-0100, C-0101, C-0102, C-0103)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through mounting bracket.

  2. For serial setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 1 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For coin pulse setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the the Cat5 cables running to and from the adjacent machines to ports labeled 3 (Line Connection Ports) as shown in the image above.

  5. Secure the LaundryCard reader to the bracketry using included hardware.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For coin pulse setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Power Harness to port 1.

  5. Secure the L2 reader to base as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

 F1 Reader (C-5001)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.

  2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 1 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  5. Connect the free end of the Power Extension Harness to port 4 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  6. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the F1 Reader Mounting Guide.

 F2/FLEX Reader (C-5401, C-5402, C-5402E)

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

  2. For Serial Setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    2. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  3. For Pulse Setups:

    1. Connect the free end of the Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  4. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

    1. For dual coin drop setups connect the secondary Coin Sense Harness to port 4 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

  5. Connect the free end of the Power Harness to port 1.

  6. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in FasCard F2/F3 Reader Installation Guide - Front Mount.

Machine Configuration

ProfitPlus Controls

  1. Connect the washer and open the door. The display will show door.

  2. Press and hold down key 1 until the Cod report appears on the display.

  3. Enter the access code into the menus by pressing the sequence of eight keys of the code without interruption. In basic configuration (when the machine is delivered) the access code to ADVANCED MODE is: 12341234.

  4. If the sequence entered is correct, the display will show Pro, corresponding to the first menu ADVANCED MODE.

  5. Keys 2 and 4 allow the selection of the precedent table menus. The menu selected is shown on the display following its keyword. To enter in it, press key 1 when displaying it.

  6. Navigate to Mod > ID and set value to '1'.

  7. Exit ADVANCE MODE.
