Install Mounting Hardware

   Qty: 1

1. Insert the factory block-out plate into the coin vault opening and/or insert the blank plate into the coin-meter aperture opening.
2. Place the C-6700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.
   1. Suggested locations to mount:
      1. Dryer: (a.) alternate mounting location to the left of the control panel; (b.) coin-meter aperture opening with blank plate; (c.) coin vault opening (If factory block-out plate is installed.).
      3. Washer: (a.) coin-meter aperture opening with blank plate; (b.) coin vault opening (If factory block-out plate is installed.).
         
3. Mark hole "C" for the pilot hole of the primary mounting point.
   1. Optional: Mark "D" and "E" holes to provide additional support for the reader and ensure minimal "play" on card reader bracket position (Requires additional fasteners. Not supplied by CCI.)
4. Use a 1-1/8" hole saw to drill a hole at position "C".
5. Place and align C-5414 Mounting Bracket so that the center hole aligns with hole "C".
6. Align the center hole of the C-5414 Mounting Bracket to the newly drilled hole on the machine face.
7. Slip the C-5702 Chase Nipple through the hole and secure with the C-5703 Locknut.
   1. Tighten the chase nipple to prevent the bracket from rotating.
   2. Screws may be inserted through the smaller holes provided on the bracket and secured to the mounting face, if desired.

1. Tap the incoming AC power wires using the C-5101 Spade Taps.
   1. For 120v models: L1, N, and Ground wires
   2. For 240/208v models: L1, L2, and Ground wires
2. Connect the three wires from the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5101 Spade Taps.
   1. Connect the Blue wire to the L1 tap.
   2. Connect the Brown wire to the N/L2 tap.
   3. Connect the Green/Yellow wire to the Ground tap.
3. Connect the 3-pin connector from the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the matching connector on the C-5602R1 Power Converter.
4. Connect the 4-pin connector from the C-5602R1 Power Converter to the matching connector on the C-5500 Power Extension Harness.
5. Run the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the reader mounting location.

Connect Machine Interface Harness

1. Connect the C-5355 Machine Start Harness to the CN4 Payment-Device Connection.
2. Run the C-5355 Machine Start Harness to the reader mounting location.

Connect and Mount Reader

1. Feed remaining harness ends through the mounting hole.
2. Connect the free end of the C-5355 Machine Start Harness to port 5 (Serial Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
3. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 1 (Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.

Encore FLW Controls

1. Press the Service Switch to enter Service Mode. The display will go blank.

2. Press the Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse buttons simultaneously. The display will show either "0 00" if in coin mode and "1 00" if in card mode.

3. If in coin mode, press the Start button. The display will begin flashing.

4. Press the Cold button to change the left-most digit from "0" to "1".

5. Press the Start button. The display will stop flashing.

6. Press the Service Switch to exit Service Mode.
